Birthday get away

Used this as the first night of our stay on the coast. Heading north from here. Place is great and cozy. Got great sleep and felt refreshed in the morning!

Needs some TLC

Great property. Poorly maintained. Toaster broken, toilet leaking , dirty sofa bed mattress, cabinets inside in need of a good scrub. Overall feeling like the bare minimum is being done. Nice place, just neglected by owner/manager.

The perfect little cottage

So super loved our stay here. It was clean, had incredible views, and the pull out bed was perfect for our boys.

Only downgraded it slightly because it was old and funny smelling, I think it made me cough. Otherwise, we loved it. My kid said it was his favorite place we've stayed so far.

Lovely location and comfortable home.

This is a very comfortable home with a fine view in a gorgeous section of the Oregon Coast. We especially enjoyed the super comfortable bed and the comfortable living room furniture. It is only seven miles from the cute village of Yachats.

Good location but it’s a dump

Great view but the ocean is across the street and to get to the “beach access” involves scaling down a cliff. The place is small, dated, and dirty. Appliances are new but everything else kinda sucks. Bed is old and caved in, there is dust everywhere, and the decor is dated. The kitchen items are old and crappy. Do yourself a favor and don’t put your hand under the couch. Lots of cobwebs everywhere. Is this actually a rental or a museum?

Perfect location for a quiet getaway

A small, simple cottage perfect for two with an ocean view that does not require you invite several friends to cover the cost because the place sleeps 8+. Location is perfect for any activity between Florence and Newport but highly recommend Cape Perpetua hiking trails and Heceta Head Lighthouse.

Cottage by the sea

Cozy comfortable cottage with all amenities we needed. Convenient to Yahacts without being in the crowds. Across the road from the ocean, which is visible from the cottage. Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

Always a delight!

Sea Mist is a lovely beach cottage located near Yachats Oregon. The cottage offers everything you need: a full kitchen, washer/dryer, a comfy bed, and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I love this place - this was my third visit!

A Get-Away for Two

This little, simple house is perfect for two people with a nice view of the ocean. The highway is quiet at night when it is great to listen to the ocean waves. It has all the kitchen amenities for cooking. There is plenty of hot water, a good shower and comfortable bed, and a bbq that works (as opposed to some rentals by the ocean where it is rusted out!). The location is really nice for accessing many spots along the coast.

We had a pleasant stay

The cottage was well equipped and has fantastic views. The access to the beach was NOT easy...you really need to drive to get to the better beach access. We also recommend adding a safety grab bar or two in the bathroom for us older folks convenience & safety.

Second time here. Great quiet cottage

We really like yachats. The cottage is very peaceful and quiet with nice beach across the street. Only down side was lack of cookware. Plus side was new grill. And it would be great to see a hot tub there. But we will be back.

Sea Mist Cottage

Very comfortable little beach cottage. Lovely ocean view out the front window! Silverware needs to be replaced though. There wasn't enogh spoons! It is well maintained and clean though. Very satisfied.

Quaint and reasonably priced

I’ve stayed at this quaint little house several times in the past. It’s quiet and nestles up against the forest. There’s a great view of the ocean from the large bay windows. There is some traffic noise from the highway but it’s not excessive. Be sure to arrive before nightfall as it can be easily overlooked during your drive since it sits back from the highway, and because there are no street lights nearby, it’s pretty dark at the front door, so be sure to have a flashlight in your vehicle.

We couldn’t go. It’s sad that you can be flexible and “must adhere to your policy” during an ice storm in Oregon. We won’t be booking with Vacasa ever again.

Quaint Beach Cottage Near Yachats

Despite its proximity to Highway 101, road noise is minimal, allowing for peaceful relaxation. The cottage exudes charm and warmth, with a quaint ambiance complemented by a soothing, high-pressure shower. However, guests should note the early 10 am check-out time and the absence of a dishwasher. Dishes must be washed and put away before departure. Overall, while not luxurious, this cottage serves as an ideal base for beach and forest adventures, accommodating a family of three comfortably.

nice quiet cottage but needs work.

quiet and cozy with great view of ocean. Electric stove heater kept things warm. Netflix on tv was enjoyable at night Furniture and bed comfortable. Needs thorough cleaning and some painting and repairs. Kitchen cabinets drawer fronts were sticky and dirty with some loose hinges.Bathroom baseboard corners pretty dirty and some unpainted. Bedroom ceiling at corners and edges very dirty looking. need some extra kitchen trash bags instead of just the one. We did enjoy staying there in spite of the deficiencies. beach access spots really close by with lots of good beaches to walk on and enjoy.

Cute little cottage

The cottage was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Beach access was not exactly easy with little kids, but there are easy to get to beaches very close by. It was quiet and lovely and the stars were so bright out there where there is no light pollution. We would definitely stay there again.
