Splendid flat in the heart of the historic center with Wifi and Air Conditioning

Experience being in the heart of Alghero. Like nowhere else at Palazzo d'Albis you will breathe in the history and ancient remains of Alghero.

To reside inside the Palazzo is to retrace the splendour of the Spanish court. King Charles V himself stayed here and it was from its windows that in October 1541 he declared the Algherese 'todos Caballeros' (all knights).

The house has air conditioning.

Inside this incredible and spacious flat, located on the first floor, you will find a large living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 8 beds in total. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, HD television, lift.

Such spaciousness and light are very rare to find in the historic centre.
The natural light that illuminates all the rooms makes the overall picture magical and relaxing.

All services are literally on the doorstep, making this flat the place to stay for those seeking the best.

For those wishing to discover the beauty of Alghero and its surroundings, there is a shuttle bus service that has its terminus 150 square metres from the house.

Staying in Alghero will not be easier than this.

We warrant to our guests maximum freedom and discretion but we are always available if they need us.

Palazzo Albis is located in Piazza Civica, the beating heart of Alghero, in a context of absolute prestige.


The host is allowed to enter for maintenance of the facilities by prior arrangement with the guest.

Prefect Location

We had a great stay here, right in the Piazza Civica in the heart of the historic district. The apartment was just the right size for the 6 of us, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was an easy walk through the historic town with shopping and food everywhere. The hosts were very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. They had great recommendations for places to eat and drink and made us feel at home. I would definitely stay again on another trip to Alghero.

Alghero central

The apartment is in a beautiful, high ceilinged, old stone building, with tall, shuttered, arched windows and a large, cool sitting/dining area. The antique furniture creates a graceful atmosphere. Two of the bedrooms are spacious with chests or cupboards, the third on a windowed mezzanine is tight without space for clothes but there is space outside. The fourth bed is on a sofa in the main room so not private. I'd say perfect for 6 but 8 only if 2 people don't mind sharing a communal bedroom. Bathrooms both clean, functional and roomy, a galley kitchen so difficult for several people to share in cooking but with all the essentials to create a home cooked meal. The owners were very generous in leaving welcome food and drink and very friendly. The apartment in central Alghero is perfect for the Marina, all the shops and restaurants, the museums and city walls and a short walk to the city beaches or a longer one or short bike ride to the more shady spots, sandy dunes fringed with pine trees. The central position also has a down side if you want an early night, it can be noisy until around 1.30am with nearby bars and restaurants so if you sleep lightly or like to go to bed early it may be a problem. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this beautiful apartment.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert hat und auch ständig erreichbar war. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt in der Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Busbahnhof ist um die Ecke und man ist fußläufig am Strand. Die Wohnung ist schön/individuell eingerichtet und lässt soweit auch keine Wünsche offen. Alles in allem gibt es tatsächlich gar keine Kritikpunkte, wenn man das komplizierte Mülltrennungssystem verstanden hat (dafür kann die FeWo nichts).

Dimora meravigliosa in pieno centro storico

L’appartamento si trova all’interno di palazzo d’Albis, citato dalle guide per l’importanza storica. È situato all’ingresso delle mura del centro storico, fronte porto. In pratica la migliore posizione X godere in pieno questa graziosissima cittadina. La casa è grande, ideale X 6, ariosa ed elegante, arredata in sintonia con suo valore storico. Ci siamo trovati benissimo anche grazie alla cordialità della proprietà attenta a rendere il nostro soggiorno ottimale.

Appartamento bello affascinante e accogliente in un contesto molto centrale e molto vivace. Dotato di tutte le comodità, i proprietari hanno perfino attrezzato la cucina di olio, sale, zucchero e spezie. Belle le finestre ampie su piazza Civica. Unici nei il rumore ad ogni ora e l'assenza di aria condizionata che però è stata sostituita da ventilatori in tutte le stanze. A parte questi dettagli e grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità di Antonella, il soggiorno è stato piacevolissimo

Your apartment was excellent for my family of six. Lots of space, and bedroom privacy. The apartment was very clean, every appliance worked perfectly, and your contact person, Maria, was always available. Your preview pictures were accurate, and the coffee shops and restaurants, literally, by the front door, was very convenient. Your apartment added to our enjoyment of Alghero.

PERFECTO! El alojamiento es exactamente como se ve en las fotos, con todos los detalles para una estancia agradable en pleno centro de la preciosa Alghero. Las anfitrionas nos recibieron con unos pastelitos y una botella de vino sardos y el piso estaba impecable en cuanto a limpieza y equipamiento. Buenos vecinos, no es muy difícil encontrar aparcamiento gratuito a 10 minutos de la casa y hay supermercados a 4 minutos andando. Todo y ser una zona de restaurantes muy concurrida, hemos estado muy cómodos 4 adultos y 4 niños. De 10!!!

Comfortable, great location, fantastic view and delightful host

The place was unbelievable, just by Alghero old city centre square, you could see almost everything by everyday walks, We enjoyed the apartment. The owners are kind and helpful! This property is spacious and well-located. It is within walking distance of many of the sites in Alghero and close to shopping and restaurants. Lovely little streets to discover, and easy walking distance to nearby attractions. Quiet. Clean. Excellent local recommendations to go to for eating/shopping/visiting. Feels like a home. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
