Excellent Stay in St Cezaire sur Siagne

Weatherwise our week was not great but that was more than compensated for by our enjoyable family holiday in this lovely house. Everything was as described, the house spotless and well equipped, the pool very clean, warm(ish) with a fantastic view over the hillsides towards Cannes. The hosts, Robert and Christine were extremely welcoming and delightfully attentive. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and our family would love to return at some point when hopefully we will get a normal week of sunshine.

We've rented many villas in France over the years and the outside space with this one is the best we've ever had. The pool is large and has distant views down to the sea at Cannes. It's unheated, so a little bracing on entry (first week of September), but lovely once you're in. There's a large paved area with a table tennis table and lots of sunbeds. We spent a lot of time under the large veranda along the back of the villa, with comfortable seating and two dining tables. There are neighbouring villas, but the grounds are not overlooked at all and we liked the fact that we weren't disturbed by people coming to water the plants (there's an irrigation system) and clean the pool (there's a robot that does it!) as we have been some years.The interior of the villa is comfortable and the decoration quirky with many paintings and artefacts from overseas travels. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one very large full bathroom and one en-suite shower room (no toilet). There is a fourth bedroom downstairs and a separate toilet. This layout was fine for our family of four.It's about a 10 minute walk to the centre of St Cezaire which is a lovely village with some shops, an excellent supermarket and several places to eat - our favourite was Cafe Lions.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Alexandra.

Parfait !Tout est parfait à la villa Alexandra! La maison, la piscine, le jardin, la vue! et le tout vraiment pas loin du village.La maison est super bien équipée et très propre.La piscine est juste parfaite, très propre et rafraîchissante.La maison est clôturée entièrement ce qui nous a bien aidé avec notre chien.Accueil et suivi très sympathique de la propriétaire et de son beau-fils.Encore merc. Nous espérons revenir un jour.

Un séjour parfait !

La villa est vraiment superbe, très bien placée à l’abris des regards, très confortable et très équipée (nous aimons faire un peu de cuisine et avons été ravis de trouver autant d’ustensiles de cuisine et un si beau barbecue!). La piscine est superbe , bien exposée et avec une vue extraordinaire. Bref, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour entre amis. Merci !

Our 6 week vacation in the villa Alexandra was gorgeous. Every day. The property, the great house, the big pool, the location with a great view of Cannes, in the daytime and in the evening. Also the helpfulness of the owner was great. We thank you very much. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit fantastischer Aussicht

Urlaub im Juni 2022 mit acht erwachsenen Personen. Im Haus sind fünf Schlafzimmer. Betten sind relativ schmal, vier sind 140 mal 200 cm, eines 160 mal 200 cm, gute Matratzen. Fenster in den Schlafzimmern haben z. Teil Fliegengitter, alle haben Ventilatoren. Küche ist ausreichend mit Geschirr und Gläsern ausgestattet, scharfe Messer wären wünschenswert. Kühl- Gefrierkombination mit integriertem Eiswürfelbereiter bietet ausreichend Platz für viele Lebensmittel. Sehr schöne überdachte und schattige Veranda mit bequemen Loungemöbeln und zwei Tischen lädt zum Essen, Spielen, Lesen und Chillen ein. Neben der Veranda Blumengarten, der von vielen Insekten und Schmetterlingen besucht wurde. Wunderschöner großer Pool und viel Platz aussenrum zum Tischtennis Spielen. Fantastische Aussicht auf Cannes. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die immer erreichbar waren und auf jeden Wunsch sofort eingegangen sind. Im Dorf gibt es Cafes, Bar, Restaurants, Pizzeria, Supermarkt, eine sehr gute Bäckerei und einen Metzger, ferner einen Imker mit Honigdirektverkauf Wir würden das Haus wieder mieten!

Paradies !!! And the nicest/sympathcs owner I ever met ! ! !

Wir (6 Personen) waren wirklich begeistert, hier insbesondere vom Vermieter Robert sowie seiner Frau Christine ! Es war unser 10ter Fincaurlaub, noch nie haben wir einen netteren, sympathischeren und hilfsbereiteren Vermieter kennengelernt. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, jeder Bitte nachgekommen und das immer SOFORT. Besser geht nicht, das war SPITZENKLASSE👍😘  Zur Finca selbst kann man sagen, dass sie den Bildern in Fe-Wo entspricht ! Überdachte riesige Terrasse direkt am Pool mit Zugang zur Küche. Welche Besonderheiten sind zu nennen: Positiv: -neue Liegestühle, leicht und bequem sowie verstellbar -riesiger Sonnenschirm (Leider nur 1, da Vormieter den 2ten kaputt gemacht haben - ein 2ter neuer und notwendiger Schirm soll beschafft werden) - herrliche Anlage mit Fernblick auf Cannes - Viele Dinge von Vormietern vorhanden, somit sollte man erst einkaufen, wenn man das geprüft hat. Es ist so immens viel an Dingen vorhanden, dass es wirklich schon einen Wert darstellt. - Salzwasserpool (sehr leicht gesalzen) ohne Chlor und Chemie - Gas Barbecue WEBER Grill - Gute Matratzen - Haken für Moskitonetze vorhanden - Deutsches Programm (oder viele anderssprachige) muss man über Orange/Boutique im Menu buchen - 9€ Monat (sollte man mit Vermieter absprechen !!!) / TV + Receiver an, dann auf Menü > Boutique > Land wählen und bestätigen.  - Schatten auch unter nebenstehenden Bäumen - Hochwertige Tischtennisplatte - Regelmäßige Überprüfung Poolwasser - hochwertige Ausstattung Erklärungen: - 2 WC (steht aber auch so in der Beschreibung) ! Bei einer Belegung von 10 Leuten schwierig zumal nur ein Badezimmer frei zugänglich - „Whirlpool“ ist im Badezimmer in der Badewanne - Wer große Betten mag muss sich umgewöhnen, da nur ein großes Bett vorhanden. Die anderen sind „französische Betten“ mit ca. 1,80 Breite Negativ: - Kein Billiardtisch (ist in der Fe-Wo Beschreibung angegeben - wird vom Vermieter jetzt rausgnommen) - Nachbarschaft (haben wir nur sonntags gehört - aber was ist bei Ferien der Kinder ?) Empfehlungen: - Kleine Aussendusche wegen Salzwasser

Our enjoyable holiday at Villa Alexandra

We were greeted by Robert and Christine after our drive through France who took great pleasure in introducing us to the beautiful and spotlessly clean Villa Alexandra. Our group included two families with four teenagers and the accommodation was perfectly suited to our requirements. The infinity pool, sunbathing area and dining/lounging terrace in particular were immaculate and was where we spent the majority of our holiday. There was a neat kitchen and barbecue for the days we cooked and a short walk to the pretty bustling village with stunning views and restaurants for the days we didn’t. On the days we ventured out, we travelled to Nice, St Maxine, St Tropez, Antibes, Lac de St Cassien and Mougins all within about an hour’s drive. All were worthy of a visit for first time travellers and those of us who were returners to the area. The weather was very hot throughout our stay and though we struggled with the heat at times during the nights, the altitude overlooking the views of Cannes and the surrounding hillsides helped with the gentle breeze they offered. In the evenings as the temperature dropped we enjoyed our family table tennis tournament which lasted two weeks and ended with the final on our last evening!! Without reservation we would highly recommend this lovely house and its location for a memorable family holiday.

Stunning views

The previous reviews proved to be so true....the views from this property were really amazing. Extremely clean and well presented property - great owners, on hand whenever and for whatever you could need. The village itself is really nice - had a much better lot of facilities than a simple google search showed. Good quality supermarket, great butcher, take out pizza and a few nice restaurants, all you could need - see Dave on the Square for a fab meal whilst watching the locals play boules!

We had the most amazing stay, I walked to the village every morning and enjoyed visiting Cabris and other villages around the area. About an hour to the coast. Robert and Christine could not have been more helpful. We will be back!

Beautiful villa in stunning part of France!

Villa Alexandra is a beautiful property and furnished in our opinion to a very high standard. The owners, Monsieur et Madame Casfikis, are a delight and meeting them was all part of a memorable holiday. The villa is well equipped, exceedingly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The villa is just less than a mile, so a 15-20 minute walk, from the lovely village of St Cezaire sur Siagne which is very pretty and has a few bars/brasseries (though none seemed to stay open in the evening but this may be due to the time of year we visited - May/June) and a small supermarket. The villa is set in a very quiet location surrounded by its own olive grove (I think Monsieur Casfikis said he had around 50 trees, sufficient for him to press his own olives, the oil from which is provided for their guests). The pool is beautiful and has been recently refurbished. The view from the surrounding pool terrace is magnificent - miles and miles of woodland with Cannes and the Iles de Lerins visible in the distance. We do not usually return to the same holiday destination but we would not hesitate to return to Villa Alexandra!

Parfait!!!

The pictures make it look wonderful.....but it's even BETTER!! Our family of 4 spent a truly WONDERFUL 2 week stay at Villa Alexandra. It is even better than it looks in the photographs. We were already au fait with the lovely village of Saint Cezaire, but our stay at Robert and Christine's lovely villa made it all the more enjoyable. They both were there to greet us on our arrival, the villa was immaculate and with all the amenities you need. The friendly village is only a 10 minute walk away. The villa has every amenity you need....lots of room, modern décor and all in an immaculate condition. A stunning location with views over Cannes. During our stay we experienced a huge thunderstorm, a power cut and another minor electrical problem. But Robert was always on call and came around to sort out the various problems immediately....quicker than any hotel room! We cannot recommend this lovely villa enough...it is a truly wonderful place to relax. The 4 of us came to Provence to unwind...and after 2 weeks we did not want to leave. Finally...a word about the photographs of Villa Alexandra on the HomeAway page. They make the villa and its grounds look stunning...but I can confirm that they do NOT do it enough credit. Highly recommended

A greatly maintained, nicely decorated and appropriately equiped house in a quiet area not too far from Grasse, Nice or Cannes. Neither too big for 2 people nor too small for 6 or more. Likeable, simpatico and caring owners that give a helping hand or advice if needed. Conclusion: definitey worth 5***** and highly recommended.

Excellent faciltiy in superb surondings

We were a family of 9, aged 6 to 83. It turned out to be a great 2 weeks holiday. The house had all we neede, especially with the pool ouside. Close to the village within walking distance, and not to far from the sea. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Robert and Christine for their service and hospitality.

A fabulous family holiday in a lovely village

This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Alexandra. It is the perfect holiday for our extended family, being large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pool is unusually large and the kids loved it. St Cezaire is pretty, friendly and has lovely food shops, restaurants and markets. We have no hesitation recommending Villa Alexandra for a family holiday.

We were before leaving in Cannes and one day we saw this beautiful village and we falled in love so we decided to buy the property that needed two full years of renewals , the house is in stones with very wide walls and we renewed everything with the cooperation of a known decorator De Tonge and all the tiles are hand made by Pierre Basset in Salerne it was and it's still our dream.
In winter we leave inside the house
We've invested all our money and we did it as we really would appreciate leave with full comforts

This property is facing the sea and we are in a direct way no obstruction till the sea and surrounded of olive trees over than 58 olive trees that produce around 100 liters of organic olive oil that we decided to offer to our clients
It's so calm around us just birds singing
It's a place where no pollution no smog is touching our village and we thought it would be the best for our two daughters now they are big and leave abroad. Not to sell it.
And as the four of us love really this house we decided to rent it just to keep it in perfect condition.
Villa Alexandra is in our hearts 💕
