Bournecoast are delighted to offer ROBIN, a lovely apartment which encompasses the entire ground floor of a converted house. The accommodation benefits from access directly on to the garden. The apartment is located in Tuckton and is just a short walk from Wick which is popular for its riverside walks and Tuckton village. The property offers all that is needed for a relaxing holiday in an idyllic location by the river and an easy walk away from the local sandy beaches. The first floor flat is also available for holiday lets with Bournecoast which is ideal for families who are looking to holiday together.

THE APARTMENT:
The property has two bedrooms, the Master Bedroom is furnished with a King Size Bed and the second bedroom has Twin Beds.

The lounge/diner has a FLATSCREEN SMART TV and DVD. FREE WIFI is available for holiday lets (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider). The lounge/diner benefits from a door leading directly on to the garden.

The apartment has a separate kitchen which is equipped with an ELECTRIC INDUCTION HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - WASHING MACHINE - SLIMLINE DISHWASHER - FRIDGE - FREEZER - MICROWAVE - COFFEE MACHINE.

There is a family bathroom which has a bath with a shower facility. The property also has a separate toilet.

The property boasts a rear garden with a table and chairs for guests to use, which is ideal for alfresco dining. PLEASE NOTE - Guests from the upstairs apartment access their garden through the ground floor garden.

There is one off-road parking space on the driveway in front of the house, suitable for a small to medium-sized car.

THE LOCAL AREA:
In Tuckton, you will find restaurants, takeaways, and a variety of convenience stores. The Riverside Restaurant is just a short walk from the property and is a lovely place to dine, offering an impressive outlook over the River Stour. Just past Tuckton High Street is the Wick River, with its many attractions, including crazy golf, a childrens play park, a tea room and a ferry that runs down to Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Beach. If you catch the ferry to Christchurch Quay, you will find access to riverside walks, a park, a cafe, the Boathouse Restaurant, a bandstand, a childrens play area and an exciting water play park with a paddling pool. On the Quay, you can also take the opportunity to board the Vintage Ferry, which runs regularly to Wick, Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head during the summer months (weather permitting). You can walk or drive from the property to Hengistbury Head, which is a great place for the whole family. The land train offers easy access to Mudeford Sandspit, where you can enjoy the views with a cup of tea and a slice of cake or something more substantial in one of the food stands. For those who enjoy a little adventure, you can also climb Warren Hill and be rewarded with spectacular views. Southbourne Beach is an easy walk or a short drive away, offering mile after mile of sandy coastline. The apartment is also within easy reach of Boscombe and Bournemouth beaches, as well as their town centres, where you will find a wide selection of high street stores, restaurants and bars.

Perfect Location

All the amenities that our stay felt just like home. Loved the shops on the main street and close enough to where we needed to be. Will surely book again if we were ever back in the area.

Fab few days

A really good kitchen , small but really well thought out. Plenty of space in the bedrooms. Great location, easy access to food stores . Very nice break, lovely weather as a bonus.

Tasteful apartment with a few things that could be improved

The apartment is absolutely tastefully furnished and decorated and even has a litlle garden. Especially the kitchen, the curtains and the parquet flooring are of a very high quality and the overall atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. The equipment of the kitchen though is definitely improvable: a motley collection of items probably discarded in another household and there are only four plates in a flat that is supposed to cater for four. There were no tea towels. Also, there is just one tasteful (probably antique) but really tiny wardrobe (half filled with towels) and two chests of drawers for the clothes of four people. The furniture in the garden sadly is a bit neglected - a pity, because the garden is quite nice. There is a convenient parking space right in front of the house, which is really (!) narrow though because of a hedge that could easily be cut back further but isn‘t. The flat is well located and there are shops etc. in a walking distance. The check-in is very comfortable with a key-safe around the corner of the house.

Teilweise unsauber

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Die Bushaltestelle ist keine zwei Minuten entfernt und für kleines Geld ist man in ca. 25 Minuten in Bournemouth am Strand. Der Check In war holprig. Der besagte Schlüsselkasten gehört zu der darüber liegenden Wohnung und unser Versuch, mit der per Mail genannten Pin an den Schlüssel zu gelangen - was nicht funktionierte - zog den Unmut der Mieter der darüber liegenden Wohnung auf uns. Am Hintereingang steckte dann der Schlüssel. Die Sitzmöglichkeit im Garten bestand aus genau einem Stuhl. Das Objekt hat eine nette Historie und ist teilsaniert. Leider war die Wohnung nicht sauber. Der Boden in Küche, Flur und Bad / WC klebten. Unterm Sofa und hinter den Vorhängen im Wohnzimmer lagen noch Kekse vom vorherigen Mieter. Der Esstisch und Töpfe und Geschirr waren nicht sauber. Spülmittel, Reinigungsmittel - von Geschirrspültabs mal abgesehen - und Lappen nicht vorhanden. Diese haben wir am Abend unserer Anreise erst kaufen und die Wohnung und Küchenutensilien erst putzen müssen, um zu Abend essen zu können. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Das Sofa ist fleckig. Zum Glück hatten wir Picknickdecken mit, die wir darüber ausbreiten konnten. Eine Mülltrennung ist offebar erwünscht. Leider fehlten entsprechende Behältnisse / Säcke. Positiv möchte ich jedoch hervorheben, dass die Schlafzimmer und die Sanitäreinrichtung sauber waren. Der Zuschnitt der Wohnung ist für Familien mit bis zu zwei Kindern ausreichend.

There are plenty of places for you to visit, whatever the weather. There are museums, galleries, amusement arcades, crazy golf, play parks and an oceanarium. You can bring friends and family of all ages too – there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Are you an adrenaline junkie? Or do you prefer a more relaxed pace? You can hike on the clifftops or freewheel gently along the prom. If you’d rather slow your pulse than get the blood pumping, you can spend your time just being pampered in one our spas. We’ve got golf courses, gyms and leisure centres, bowling lawns, tennis courts and the option to try beach sports. We find it’s easier to get motivated with the sand between your toes and sea views on the horizon! You don’t have to go very far for rippling waves and sparkling seas. Here you can take to your surfboard, kayak or paddleboard and get straight out onto the open water. You can bring your own equipment or hire it while you’re here. We’ve got a fabulous mix of shops – there are boutiques, department stores, designer brands and high street favourites. Our shops are close to the beach and surrounded by cafés and coffee shops. So, you can shop ‘til you drop or just pop in for holiday essentials. The area is well known for its bustling nightlife. There are cinemas, comedy clubs, theatres, casinos, nightclubs and plenty of places to catch live music. It’s hard to beat a sunny day on the beach but with a huge choice of gigs and shows in town, you’ll continue to be wowed long after the sun has gone down.
