Super clean studio near the beach

We were looking for accommodations within walking distance to our daughters apartment on the Marina. This was a perfect 12 minute walk each way. The studio was super clean with a great little kitchen and washer and dryer. Nice TV with ample cable channels and a quiet location. If you have a car, parking might be a problem. There were a couple of vertical blinds missing in the living area and bathroom which need replaced to insure privacy at night. Otherwise it was so much better than a hotel at half the cost. We would definitely use it again.

cute place nice location, AC would have been nice

our stay could have been so much nicer if the place had an air conditioner to keep the room cooler, especially at night. While the homeowner had 4 or 5 mini fans, all they did is circulate the hot air, so they were barely effective. Our unit was on the bottom floor so you hear the neighbors above walking/pounding the floor constantly, and the TV totally sucks. The location is great, but parking is elusive, although very safe and close to the beach. With a few updates, this would be a 5.

Best Location

Very clean and comfortable apartment providing everything you need. The location is absolutely the best. A nice quiet street with a lot of character. A short walk to the beach and town. My husband and I stayed in May and my son and a friend stayed in July. We really didn't feel the need to travel anywhere else because the location is perfect! Beach, great restaurants, and close to many area's of interest...Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach and Santa Monica to name a few. Very easy to get around. We will be booking again soon!

Great stay !

Beautiful place very clean, 5 min walk from the beach and numerous restaurants/ stores that are walking difference. ONLY downfall , neighbors upstairs were really loud the whole time.

Great place to stay!

Great studio unit! All the amenities you need and the perfect location one block from the beach. Great for a couple, single person, or a small family. Near all the shops and restaurants. Will stay there again for sure!

LARGE CLEAN STUDIO NEXT TO BEACH, NICELY APPOINTED, GREAT VALUE

We were very impressed with this studio rental. It is much larger than I thought it would be based on the pictures. The bed was extremely comfortable. The furniture and decor are nicely appointed. The unit and the street were quiet and we had no problem parking right in front of the unit. It only takes a minute to walk to the beach and the beach is almost like a private beach out front unless you walk about 100 yards away where the Venice Pier, Venice Beach and the bike path begin. It was nice to have fast internet, full cable and a roku player. Frank and Marcela made the process easy and were quick to reply and answer our questions. The arrival instructions and self check in made it easy for a late night arrival. Highly recommended.

Great location but other issues

The studio is located just 2 short blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from restaurants on Washington BLVD and the Venice canal area. The studio is of a nice size with queen bed and nice TV but the sofa is low and stained. The kitchen table is small with two chairs with one broken when we arrived. The stove is old and one of the elements was disconnected while the frig is also old and quite loud. The unit looks very bright in the picture but we found it to be dark and dank. Towels in the bath would not dry overnight when hung on the shower doors. The unit is also loud with excessive noise from the unit above. We could hear talking, walking and all sorts of noise. They have a 10Pm curfew but that didn't work. We were woken up at 3AM on two nights and 2AM the other. Our last day we were up at 5:45 to leave and we could hear a lot of noise from the second floor. The unit is supposed to have a parking spot just out side of the front door but it was almost never available because cars were parked knowing that there was a sign that said they would be towed. We also noticed fruit flies in the unit which we understand is not abnormal for California. They had a heater, ac unit and dehumidifier in the unit but no directions on how to use them. The owners were very good about answering our questions during our stay. The did try to keep cars from parking in the spot but were unsuccessful. They also contacted the people on the second floor about the noise but it still occurred.

Great stay

Excellent location, two blocks from beach and board walk. Clean, comfortable bed , washer and dryer a plus. Everything we needed. Would stay here again
