The listing does not lie — this is the best beach location. Easy access at the end of the block. You can easily walk into downtown Santa Monica or stroll along Main St. We had everything we needed for our one week stay — plenty of towels, comfy bed, nicely stocked kitchen. We thought the space perfect for the two of us. Parking was actually pretty easy once with the parking pass and parking lot. We were here in winter so I can only imagine how amazing the location is for summer beach use. Photos of the listing are completely accurate.

Perfect little spot in an excellent location. The cottage and hosts were excellent. Very accomodating! I could not ask for a better experience while visiting my daughter in Santa Monica for the first time. This is a block from the ocean and walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants downtown. Highly recommend!

Such a great location!! Steps to the beach and walking distance to everything. Restaurants, shopping, & even a Trader Joe’s all close by. This little place has so much charm and is well stocked with everything in the kitchen, bedrooms, & great beach stuff! Also, it was so nice to have a washer & dryer.The host was so kind. She did a quick walk through, answered any questions, and left us a sweet welcome basket with all of our favorite goodies! Five star review.

This converted carriage house is delightful. You can sea the ocean from the second floor, where the kitchen and living room are. Thoughtful touches abound within the rental and the host is delightful. You have total privacy inside your space and on a dedicated patio. The Santa Monica Pier is only a few blocks away and Venice beach is 2 miles away. This is a great rental if you're planning to explore the area on foot or rent a bike.

I visit Santa Monica regularly and always check the carriage house’s availability and am so happy when I can book it! I’ve stayed here numerous times over the years and love everything about it. The location is perfect, Dayle provides everything a guest could ever require, and the place is spotless. It’s so nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. When I leave, I wish I were staying longer!

An Exceptional Stay Worth Writing AboutMy wife and I travel extensively and rarely write reviews unless something truly stands out. This Santa Monica rental compelled us to break that rule.Daley and Chris are exceptional hosts who genuinely care about providing a great experience. Their communication was clear and they anticipated our needs perfectly.The accommodations exceeded expectations. Everything we needed was there and working - well-stocked kitchen, quality linens, reliable WiFi. The historic carriage house has character with all modern conveniences.The location is outstanding. A legitimate two-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach with remarkable walkability. My wife and I left our car parked for days because restaurants, shops, and attractions were all within easy walking distance.Beach access simply doesn't get better. You're essentially on the beach without hotel crowds. We could step outside and be on the sand immediately, making spontaneous walks and sunset viewing effortless.After years of travel and countless accommodations, we recognize quality. This property delivers on every front, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others.

Fab stay, Dayle was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The location was fantastic, just a stones throw from the beach. The amenities with the accomodation was great, having beach buggy, body boards, chairs etc was a god send. There was everything you needed in the property for an enjoyable stay. It was snug with 5 of us - but we would definitely return. Thank you

Great location, great property, great hosts!

The hosts were extremely communicative and accommodating. When we arrived, the host was there to greet us and give us the tour. They provided snacks, a lovely bottle of wine, coffee, and stocked the fridge with half and half. It was so thoughtful! There were plenty of extra bath towels which we appreciated, and a lot of things for the beach - beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, scooters, a wagon, etc. They also had a lot of fun games and movies for the kids. The washer and dryer worked wonders and the kitchen was equipped with everything! Our family of 5 slept very comfortably. The beds were super comfy. We go to California every year and this is now our new favorite VRBO spot. It even has a private, cozy patio. Everything was amazing. We will be back for sure! The hosts were so kind and gracious and simply wonderful. It was the perfect place in Santa Monica too. A couple minutes from the beach, the pier, the famous hotels, and all the restaurants and shops! Highly recommend!

Can’t ask for a better location!

Very cute in ideal locations cannot get better! Great value. Bed was not that comfy but can’t complain. Had a blast and was equipped with everything you need from making meals to hitting the beach just steps away!

Great beach cottage right near the beach!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dayle and her beach cottage. She thought of absolutely everything! The check in process was super easy and parking was easily available on the street and in a neighboring lot- both with provided passes! We never had any issues coming home late at night. The cottage itself is delightful-two floors with a queen bed and bathroom downstairs and full kitchen upstairs. When we were there, it was a bit chilly so we used the heat. No problem at all! Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels. And the shower! What great water pressure....it was super! The location of the unit couldn't be any better. Three minutes walk to the beach and about ten minutes to Santa Monica Pier. You couldn't ask for anything more! We will definitely be back! Thanks again for such a lovely stay.

Great house for a family of four with all the necessary accommodations. Comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. Really cute decor and a nice patio and one block from the beach. I would give 5 stars for location but due to the rising homelessness and drug use, it was a disappointing factor. Not Dayles fault but a sad reality Still a great spot to stay!
