We bought this villa mainly for family holidays in Spain.
It is designed and equipped with that in mind ie somewhere where we would want to stay ourselves.
We chose Stuart and Natasha to act as Property Managers for the villa. Their attention to detail is unparalleled, and they are as committed as we are, to ensure we do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable. They can provide you with everything you need to know about the house and, having lived in the area for many years now, they can help you plan your holiday and places to visit.
We also employ someone to look after the pool and a gardener so everything is taken care of leaving you to relax and enjoy the garden and the facilities.
We will do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful stay while in Spain.

We like Spain, obviously for the fairly predictably good weather, but also for it's local customs and culture. This is why the house we chose was far enough away from the main tourist areas, but within easy access of the beaches and restaurants. The villa is in an area mainly of local (fairly wealthy) people but our nearest neighbours are English and very friendly and helpful.
We wanted an elevated position, firstly for the views to the coast, but also being slightly higher the villa benefits more from any breeze there might be, which in the heat of the day is most welcome wafting through the house.
The large garden and borders are well designed and laid out. They are a mix of colourful flowers and bushes around the house and up the drive, and an acre of productive olive trees in the lower grounds (the olive oil produced from our own trees, is yours to use while you stay). Our professional gardener, has worked hard to improve the stock and health of the plants and this work is now paying dividends.

We have had many positive comments about our large private pool with diving board. It is much bigger than the average villa pool, and deeper to allow safe diving. It is maintained fortnightly during summer, and we use the latest technology to keep the pool clean.
From the terrace/balcony on the first floor, you can enjoy 360 degrees picturesque views. This upstairs terrace has stone ballustrades, with views all the way to the coast in the South, mountains to the North and East, and to the West a small hill of rock which adds privacy and has many birds nesting there. This is a great place to survey the local area.
With the mountains to the rear of the property (where the swimming pool is located), you can watch the sun go down behind the mountains either on the terrace or below by the pool under the new pagoda.
From the veranda on the ground floor with table and chairs, there are views all of the way to the coast, you can have breakfast and watch the sun rise in the morning. On the same veranda there is a smaller table and lounge chairs for coffees in the shade in the afternoon.
The villa is in a very secluded location, the nearest other house being over 150m away. There are only 4 villas within 500m of Casa Colina. With its elevated position, no other property overlooks the villa. This area, just outside Antas, is known as a very quiet, wealthy and respectable neighborhood.
Where the villa is located is popular with many types of birds, nesting in the small hill next to the property and other birds congregate daily in the skies, attracted by the thermals.
Inside the villa, there is a large oak dining table with 8 chairs. The kitchen is spacious and we have all the amenities you would need for any occasion or type of meal. There is also a kitchen bar with stools, which opens up the area with the dining room.
Upstairs there is the lounge with TV (and all satellite channels) and 2 large sofas. One of the bathrooms is upstairs too.
