The loft was in the perfect location to explore Porto for the last part of our trip. Ana and Felipe were very helpful with their guides and recommendations - the port as a welcome beverage was also a nice touch. :)

The entire process and our stay was wonderful. Ana oir host was gracious ensuring we had all the info we needed even recommendations on where to eat and see. Felipe our greeter amd helped us checkin was so noce and helpful. He even jumped in woyhoit asking to help lug a suitcase up the stairs. He didnt have to but he did. The place is very nice and suited our needs. Even though it has air conditioning the loft portion can get a bit warm on a hot day. But there was a fan already there which helped just fine for us. It was a great location to get to sites and good. And quiet at night. It also had all the amenities we needed. Perfect for 2 to 3 people to share. We would certainly stay again and highly recommend.

Wonderful VRBO!

The loft was gorgeous and clean with a spectacular view of the river. Ana was so easy to communicate and work with. She went above and beyond with making sure we were well settled and had a good experience in Porto. Would stay again!

Charming, Comfortable,Perfect Location

Everything from booking to the end of the stay was fabulous. The property is super clean and comfortable and and cozy relaxing place to come home to after a long day. We loved the location— a close walk to many restaurants, bakeries, and attractions ( and there is a small market just at the end of the street for essentials… water, coffee, and wine). We appreciated the thoughtful details like umbrellas, a map, and lots of great information at check in. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return again.

Amazing Stay

Ana was an amazing host. Gave wonderful recommendations and was kind enough to have the cleaners come early so we could check in early. Her recommendation of the restaurant up the hill was so good we ate there twice for dinner. The apartment looks just like the photos. Would recommend to any of our friends. Great way to kick off our 2 week Portugal stay!

Amazing!

If you are thinking about booking one of Ana's apartments, DO IT! This spot is fabulous! Beautiful just like the pictures, and in a spot where you can easily walk to all of Porto. (though it is on a hill, so bring comfy shoes!) Ana was amazing and communicated with us often and responded quickly to our questions! She planned a day in the Douro Valley for us and it was the highlight of our entire Portugese vacation. Her team of Joana (who was amazing at check in) and Rui (a great tour guide) were the best. I highly recommend staying with Ana - in any of her 3 locations! She is a wonderful and professional host! I would stay there again in a hearbeat!

Lovely apartment with a view of the Douro

The apartment truly is exactly like the pictures. The hosts have added many thoughtful touches such as tea, laundry detergent, umbrellas, tour books, etc. Ana arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and taken back by the very patient Rui (he was there at 2:30 a.m. to take us back!). Joana gave us a thorough briefing on things we'd want to know when we arrived, and Ana answered many questions during our stay. Be prepared for stairway shock when you arrive with your luggage! Our stay was very comfortable--we recommend this apartment for a short stay in Porto.

Birds' Eye View

The beauties of Oporto Platinum Loft are three-fold: the birds' eye view of the river with all its activity and Gaia, with its port lodges terraced in the hills; the mixture of antique and contemporary that defined both the loft and the surrounding streets; and the generous spirit of the host. Ana is amazing - she helped us tailor our week with unforgettable experiences. And she made the space we stayed in a destination in itself. As much as we loved our Porto experiences (and the visit to the Douro Valley that she curated and arranged for us), we were as happy to return to the loft and enjoy its nod to the past (original stone wall in the downstairs space, for example) and comfort, the view from the three generous windows overlooking the river, and the more traditional neighborhood. Ana and her team have thought of everything, and we felt welcomed and at ease. What a remarkable find for us. We'd return in a heart beat.

Tastefully decorated apartment with a gorgeous river view

Our hostess Ana was very hospitable! She had provided helpful information about the apartment and Porto before our trip. When we arrived, Ana met us at the apartment and personally showed us around. The apartment is exactly as shown online, with a gorgeous view of the Duoro river. It was tastefully decorated, the bed on the loft level was comfortable, and the kitchen was provisioned with everything we needed. Nearby was a wonderful artisan bakery, as well as a well-stocked neighborhood grocery store. The apartment was a short walk (uphill) to central Porto, although taxis and Uber were readily available to help us get around. Ana also provided numerous sightseeing and dining recommendations – we especially enjoyed trendy fusion restaurant MISTU, a short walk from the apartment, and Esplanada Marisqueira Antiga a classic Portuguese seafood restaurant located 15 minutes away by Uber in Matosinhas. We had a great stay at this apartment and would recommend it to others. Thank you, Ana!

Charming loft with terrific property manager

Our stay in Porto was terrific, thanks in no small part to Ana, the owner/property manager. The loft itself was great: outstanding location by the river with a terrific view, clean, comfortable, spacious. The weather was on the cool side at times during our visit, but the temperature in the loft was easy to control using the primary heater/AC unit by the window. There is also a smaller space heater in the elevated loft area next to the bed, which we didn't need to use. Ana's commitment to ensuring the quality of our visit stood out more than anything else. She was frequently in contact leading up to and during our stay. She provided detailed information about the loft itself as well as a wealth of tips and recommendations for enjoying Porto. She was also diligent in checking in to make sure things were running smoothly. We communicated using WhatsApp, which made things easy. Great stay. Highly recommended.

Loft with a view

Our first trip to Porto could not have been with a better host. Ana and her team, João (driver) and Joana (welcome host) made sure everything was perfectly organized. The weather was all 5 days perfectly sunny and cool which made our day trip of average 17,000 steps very comfortable. Dress in layers this time of the year and you be ok from your first Pastei de Natel in the morning till that glass of port while watching the sunset with 100s of your closest friends. The apartment was exactly as described and had all the amenities we needed for this short stay. Be ready to climb in Porto when visiting the famous sights and port caves. Joana’s recommendation of Adega de São Nicolau satisfied several items on our to-do food list and Ana’s recommendation of Serpa Pinto in Matosinhos took care of the rest. Both absolutely amazing with fantastic staff and definitely worth visiting. Communication with Ana and the team was effortless and all made sure we had everything we needed for a great time in Porto. We own 9 rental units and know how important it is to communicate and facilitate—they pushed it to a new level. We highly recommend Ana and her properties. We left Porto lighter from all the walking, but loaded with great memories.

The most considerate host!

My husband I just returned from a three day stay Ana's lovely apartment in Porto. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the cellars and main tourist attractions. Ana and her team also left us with several travel guidebooks, umbrellas for the rain, and answered any possible questions we could have. Her customer service was superb! The apartment itself was very well appointed. Besides being beautifully decorated, all of the essentials were there. There were plenty of supplies for cooking, a Nespresso machine, wine (for purchase if needed), bathroom supplies, and a washing machine (with detergent). There was also a lovely surprise welcome port sample to start our adventures on the right foot. The thing that stands out the most about this listing is the care and attention that Ana and her staff provided! It felt more like I was going to visit an old friend. Her communication was excellent. She quickly and promptly answered every question, made restaurant suggestions, and helped with reservations. She took care of setting up an amazing experience in the Duoro Valley. We had a very knowledgeable private driver. He happily answered all of our questions, about port, history, viticulture, and Portugal's people. Ana arranged a very charming (and delicious) private port tasting at a small Quinta. It was the highlight of the trip for us. This was the best rental experience I have ever had!

Awesome loft in Porto

Stayed at Ana’s Oporto Platinum loft for 4 nights. Ana and Filipe gave us wonderful recommendations before, at check in and during the stay. The space was exactly as described, and is so close to the heart of the city. The loft had a nice kitchen, but with all the spectacular restaurants they recommended, no cooking for me! Thank you Ana, hope to return one day!

Euro holiday

We saw a sign that said “Oporto is not a place but a feeling”. So true. If you have never been then take the effort and go. This apartment was in the old town and helped make a lasting memory. You can’t have a perfect 10 as there is always something that could be improved but this stay at Ana’s apartment sure came close. Tip: get a 3 day Adante transport card and make full use of it that is not quite right but

Stunning Apartment so convenient

The apartment is just like the photos, tastefully designed with all the necessities required to make it so comfortable. Our host Ana, is amazing, every detail was given to make our stay perfect. Ana goes way beyond the normal host checking in to see if we are ok & enjoying our time there. Can’t thank Ana enough, our only negative is the stairs & no lift, but really, the views from the windows make up for the effort of climbing those stairs.
