Great location, responsive host, and a cute place—would stay again. Stairs are no joke (but as described in listing) so just make sure you’re able to do a few flights of tight stairs before booking.

Fun little town!

The studio was in a great area of town. Close to everything from great food to the beach! Stairs can be a little tricky, but otherwise a great stay.

Fantastic location and the perfect base for your stay in Nice

We loved staying in this charming little studio! It had all the essentials and the location couldn’t have been better - in the heart of old town Nice, it was easy to get to around and enjoy all that Nice has to offer!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room was perfect and equipped with everything we needed. You can tell Sophie put thought and care into every touch. She was also more than accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable and looked after throughout our trip. The area was lovely and felt right out of a storybook. Next time I’m in Nice, I will 100% be booking here again. Thank you again for everything Sophie!! :)

A lofty idyll!

Delightful. The warnings about the steps were indeed accurate but the climb was worth it for the view and tranquillity. Sophie's instructions and tips of where to visit were spot on. Definitely a recommendation for a stay in the prettiest area of Nice.

Excellent communication (and was very quick to respond when I had a question after mis-reading the check-in instructions). Great location - right in the heart of things but still quiet. We enjoyed walking up the steps to the park just above us for beautiful sunset views. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. The stairs are definitely no joke (we knew this from the reviews and it was still a bit more than we expected - we didn't have a problem with them but something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility). The apartment was relatively small but was fine for just the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable and the sitting area was cozy and comfortable.

Old Nice

Sophie was a lovely host, very good at responding and very helpful with sharing info about trains and trams. The hike up the stairs was a little tight but the apartment was in a great area, close to everything you would wasn’t to see and more than enough places to eat!!!!

Lovely stay, hard stairs

This apartment is cozy. It is difficult to get up the stairs with luggage, would not recommend if you have large or heavy baggage because it is on the 4th floor of steep and narrow stairs. It was very easy to travel around, a short walk to the train station and a short walk to the beach and downtown area. We stayed for 8 nights and had a great time. The host is very quick to respond to anything you may need!

Great location

Great location. Stairs to the apartment were tough. Room was very dusty and not well cleaned. But I’m allergic to dust so more sensitive than others. I did find cleaning supplies to clean upon my arrival. Host was very helpful and gave great recommendations during our time there. Host worked well to make us comfortable. Liked the washer access.

Steep stairs

The apartment is located in le Vieux Nice. It is just okay for a short stay. However, the stairs up to the fifth floor are steep and irregular which is challenging for guests like me who are older ( 75 ). The bathroom is very tiny and cramped - you need to open the door to the bathroom in order to stand easily at the sink.

Compact quirky space in Vieux Nice

Delightful views from window, great location in Vieux Nice. Unit is compact but has all needed features. As others have noted, stairs are steep and it is walk up only-fine for people without physical limitations, likely would not work for others. Shower a bit challenging for taller people. Host was very helpful and friendly and provided good recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Would return!

Perfect 3 Nights in Nice

I highly recommend this property. As the other reviews mention, there are steep steps (51 to be exact) up to the property. This was not a problem for us because the location is impeccable. You are quite literally steps away from the heart of Old Nice and the Main Street. We were about 5-10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. The air conditioning and extra fan were a huge plus because we stayed during a heat wave. The host was very responsive to our questions as well. This place was perfect for our 3 night stay in Nice and we would stay here again.

Appartement avec une vue superbe, sans vis à vis en pleine vieille ville ce qui est rare, cosy, au calme car en hauteur sur la colline donc loin de l'agitation des ruelles, tout à côté du cimetière du château, le premier cimetière monumental de France devant le Père Lachaise et le 4ᵉ d’Europe!L'appartement est typique de la vieille ville donc parfait pour découvrir comment les gens vivent dans ces immeubles. Aussi, ce ne sont pas les normes des hôtels. Alors, on accepte avec indulgence l'étroitesse de la largeur des escaliers, la très grande hauteur des marches irrégulières, la toute petite taille de la salle de bain où rien ne manque, la double hauteur de la douche. Et on a tout le confort moderne avec la climatisation, le wifi, la TV avec Netflix, l'équipement et les fournitures d'une cuisine. Et pour l'accueil, je vous laisse découvrir les petites attentions de Sophie...PS : Montez 5 marches de plus et, par une petite fenêtre, vous verrez Nice de l'Ouest au Nord Est. Extraordinaire !

La cuisine est très bien équipé, l'appartement est très petit. Le plafond de la douche n'est pas très haut et la salle de bain très petite. Beaucoup de marche pour atteindre le logement.

Mitten in der Altstadt liegt das verwinkelte Haus. Der Aufstieg mit Koffer über die Enge Treppe in den 4. Stock ist eine Herausforderung.Das Apartment ist sehr persönlich gestaltet, Tee und Kaffee, genug Handtücher und ein Welcome sind da. Wir haben selten so ein kleines, aber vollständiges Bad gesehen!Sophie ist sehr hilfsbereit.Ein schöner Aufenthalt!

Appartement conforme au descriptif du site , très propre , literie confortable, cuisine bien équipée , climatisation efficace , sdb petite mais suffisante pour la durée du séjour . Les escaliers sont raides mais font partie du charme du logement. Merci à Sophie pour sa réactivité et son efficacité dans nos échanges par mail . Nous avons passé un excellent séjour .

Seulement pour l’emplacement

Seul point positif : l’emplacement. Situé en plein coeur de la vieille ville et près de la plage, c’est pas cher payé pour être à cet endroit. Pour le reste, c’est très décevant. L’appartement est très petit. Situé au 4e étage, l’escalier est très étroit et très difficile à monter. Les marches ne sont pas régulières. Certaines sont très hautes. À éviter si vous n’êtes pas en bonne condition physique. L’annonce indique qu’il y a un stationnement, mais c’est faux, car il faut se trouver un stationnement par soi même sur la colline du château et c’est payant. Il faut payer le parcmètre : 25 € pour la journée. L’annonce est trompeuse à cet égard. Vous pouvez laisser la voiture pour la nuit sur la colline mais la colline est fermée entre 20h et 8h, donc impossible d’accéder à la voiture. De plus, il doit y avoir une centaine de marches entre le stationnement et l’appartement. Il faudrait modifier l’annonce et indiquer qu’il n’y a pas de stationnement et qu’il faut s’arranger par nos propres moyens. Il y a la climatisation, mais c’est tellement humide l’été que l’appareil se remplit d’eau très rapidement et s’arrête. Très désagréable. Les lits ne sont pas confortables. La douche est extrêmement petite et il y a une hauteur de 5pi 8po entre le plancher et le plafond. Le lave vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas. Une odeur d’égout très désagréable remplit l’appartement lorsque vous faites couler de l’eau dans le lavabo de la salle de bain ou de la cuisine. Aucun confort.
