A serene one-bedroom apartment within an 18th century building, steps from Palais and Musee du Luxembourg and The Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe.

LIVING/ DINING
Through the long narrow corridor, lined with books is the large open-plan living/ dining room with a dark wood and leather academician-style interior, two large windows, an antique fireplace and a dining table with four chairs. Spanning across almost the entire size of the room, is a large antique rug and the neutral-coloured walls are ornamented with numerous paintings, whilst porcelain vases and other material pieces of art adorn the side tables and cabinets. The room also offers an a Bose sound system to truly enjoy the place together with a soundtrack of your choice.

KITCHEN
Through to the fully equipped and separate kitchen which has all the necessary utensils and equipment such as an electric stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine for those early mornings.

BEDROOM
The bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a large window and an en-suite bathroom with a walk- in shower, double sinks and a toilet.

BATHROOM
There is a guest toilet in the hallway upon entry

Please note that this apartment is on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs (approximately 20) as the building has no elevators. It is only suitable for adults. There is however, a building keeper (gardienne).
We kindly ask guests not to use the fireplace.When your booking has been confirmed, we will ask you to fill in a pre-check-in form on our website to confirm your identity and booking details. Please note you will need to provide an official photographic identification document. This enables us to provide you with a more personal service and offers an extra level of security for both our guests and our homes.

Full of character, very well decorated

The apartment was full of character, very well decorated, and equipped as well as being really well located (about 15mins walk from the river - many major sights like The Louvre, Notre Dam, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Pantheon were within easy walking distance). It felt like a privilege to be able to experience living in one of the historic buildings that give this part of Paris its special character. There was also a good Carrefour supermarket about 5mins walk away (down Rue de Seine) which was really useful and plenty of restaurants within easy reach. The representative from Veeve was very welcoming and helpful

This is an apartment in the heart of Saint Germain and next to Luxembourg gardens. Very quiet and safe neighbourhood. Great restaurants near by and if you land in Orly, it was about 40 minute drive. We will definitely request it again!

Other than that, it was a great find.

Overall, the place was amazing. The location was excellent and we very much enjoyed it. I would have given a 5 star rating but the only thing that held me back was that when we first walked in there was a terrible smell all day and night all throughout the apartment. Even the sheets and pillows smelled awful. We opened the windows and it took about 24 hours for the smell to eventually pass. Other than that, it was a great find.

Distinctly Parisian and very homey

This apartment is a good example of how much better it can be to stay at an air BNB than a hotel. While many properties lately feel cold and sparse, like they were purchased just to rent, this feels like you are staying at a fashionable aunt's place in a fantastic neighborhood. Luxurious and beautifully decorated house!

This apartment is perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It looks just like the pictures, the rooms are full of art and books and old photographs, in a beautiful building. Location is ideal, we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Bed is comfortable and since that room faces a courtyard, if you shut the door there's no street noise, even with window open. Shower is phenomenal.

Amazing stay with responsive and professional team

Tom's team does a great job in managing the AirBnB experience. They are responsive and very professional. Someone from his team met us and provided a very detailed tour of the unit and answered questions. The unit was as described in the advertisement, and worked well for our trip. It also felt very secure with two security doors before getting into the apartment.
