My girlfriend and I chose Newport as the location for a weekend getaway and were thrilled to find this lovely one bed one bath to be our home base for the weekend. Everything is perfectly within walking distance and there is a mirage of shops and restaurants to try in the area. 10/10 location.

We stayed 3 days and each morning there were several (4 to 5) roaches crawling around the kitchen. On the last morning, there was one crawling on the kitchen table. The landlord tried to spray on the second day, but they kept coming. Sorry, but this is nasty. For the price, we shouldn’t be dealing with this.

This property is not as pictured or described. The unit was “surface” clean, but didn’t look like it had been deep cleaned in months…maybe longer. Stains on furniture, the walls and baseboards had visible dirt, stains, marks and caked grime all over them. The pictures make this place seem renovated, clean, light and airy…the reality is very different. We had several small beetle/roach insects that were inside that we had to kill. In addition the inside of this unit clearly has ventilation/air issues. The air was so humid it felt “wet” no matter what we did. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold behind drywall because there is clearly an issue. The bedding always felt slightly damp as did our clothes in our suitcases. Even the hinges on the doors have visible rust and is starting to stain all around the door/walls from whenever issue is going on that is being neglected. This isn’t a “you’re by the beach” problem, we’ve stayed in Newport many times and this is very different.Our upstairs neighbors were so loud and we could hear their every movement.There is no beach view, but we knew that based on the description. It is a good location, but wouldn’t ever stay here again in this condition.It could be a great property if it was properly maintained. Now it needs a major overhaul.

Great Stay

We needed a smaller place for our larger family overflow and your unit was perfect. We actually were able to use the ovens for Thanksgiving Turkey!!! Thank you for a great visit!

Cute property- Great Location

We stayed in all three units with friends and family. Our house was the one bedroom, one bath and it was super cute and perfect for our family. Check in was beyond easy and location was perfect! I appreciated all the information that was provided to guide us around the area. I would not only stay again, but recommend to anyone.

Wedding weekend fun!

We enjoyed our stay for our son's wedding. Property was a little run down but very clean. Bathroom small, kitchen nice, living area dated. Excellent location to beach. Beachfront Realty easy to work with.

Relaxing!

This property was perfect! I came to Newport to work on a paper and I was relaxed and got so much done. The apartment is is right behind the houses that were right on the beach. I had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

Enjoyable Stay at VRBO

Everything was exceptional. Bath tub too slippery and needs new expoxy coating with sand for stability. Otherwise I would definitely recommend and stay at this rental again. Close to Pier and restaurants 👍😎
