Prefcet Winter Break

The property was perfect and the communication with An Island Apart was excellent. Great location, close to restaurants ( try restuarnte Olves), shops, and attractions. Weather in February was lovely and Madeira is a spectacular island. We recommend a 4X4 tour with Madeira Discovery and Whale watching with Magic Dolphin, both arranged through the property manager.

10 days in Madeira

We spent 10 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment matched the description and photos—spacious, clean, and comfortable. The living room was bright, with two large windows, one overlooking a charming street with restaurants and shops. The bedroom windows face an old, abandoned building, so we didn’t open them, but this wasn’t an issue for sleeping. Soundproofing between flats could be better, as is sometimes the case in older buildings, but it didn’t cause any significant problems. We would be happy to extend our stay if we return to Madeira and would recommend this place to others.

Excelente localização! O apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia, cozinha bem equipada com tudo novo. Cama muito confortável e a limpeza excelente também. A melhorar a questão da água quente (ao segundo duche a água esfria) e fiquei sem perceber se podíamos usar o estendal da área de serviço. Faz falta estender uma toalha ou alguma roupa. Relativamente a estacionamento na área aconselho usar os Parques 2000 - 4.50 ao dia e a 7 minutos a pé do apartamento.

Mieux que l'hôtel et calme.

L'hébergement est propre et très bien conçu. Bien placé pour ceux qui veulent être libre de visiter la ville et utiliser les transports publics. Attention aux fausses pistes lors du choix de l'appartement, les photos laissent penser qu'il y a une terrasse alors qu'il y a seulement des balcons.

Very nice apartment, spacious, modern and clean

We stayed for one week in this nice apartment which was completely renovated and equipped with modern furniture in a nice style. Communication was always fast and helpful. Perfectly located in the middle of Funchal with many restaurants and shops around. Parks, nice plazas, the sea and bus stations in close walking distance. At night it was quiet and the comfortable bed also added to a refreshing sleep. All in all a great stay in Funchal.

Excellent apartment

An excellent apartment. The check-in was very straughtforward, even though I arrived earlier than planned. Very central - 2 minutes to the cathedral and another minute to the sea front. The bedroom was private and quiet. Pleasant lounge and kitchen. Good facilities. The only thing missing - I bought a large coffee mug.

Perfect, modern and comfortable

The flat was just perfect, modern and comfortable Clean. Location was amazing, near the bus stations, restaurants and everyting you can need. Quiet place but right in the centre.
