Truly amazing!!!

This beautiful apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It was as situated in a beautiful quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of all the sites and transportation and too many wonderful restaurants to count. Being right on the canal was such a treat! We would highly recommend this apartment and would gladly return on a future visit. Working with Views on Venice was wonderful as well!

Lovely little hide away

Fantastic support from Luca who checked us in. Nice little hideaway far from busy neighborhoods of Venice. Great AC for hot summer. My 8th stay with Views on Venice in two cites + recommended to many friends who’ve booked their apartments and had good experiences!

Pefectly located romantic apartment.

We loved that we were overlooking the canal and that we were a little away from the main area whilst still in reach of restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment itself has beautiful furniture and we found it very comfortable

Wonderful experience

Words fail us in describing how beautiful and comfortable everything was in the accomodation . We were treated in the area to a wealth of choices around dining and drinking places…. It was as special an accomodation and area as we hoped …… making our stay in Amazing Venice perfect.Thanks in particular to Luca who greeted us and organised what we needed. Our favorite stay

The apartment is very appropriately described. It is a destination in its own right. It is so delightful to just put on some jazz or classical music, cosy up on the couch or window seat with one of the engaging books and feel at home in Venice. Plenty of exploring to be done in Cannaregio without the crowds on a mission to St. Marks. The Views on Venice staff were exceptionally helpful before and during our stay. The booklet the company provides has the answer to almost every question of about how and what to see and do in Venice and the nearby islands. Views on Venice is definately the way to experience Venice.

Experience living in a historical home

This apartment is by far one of the most quaint beautiful places we have ever visited. From the location in a quiet residential area of Venice to the historical significance of the building and the beautiful decorations/appointments of the apartment, it was a wonderful stay. What I liked most about this apartment is that unlike my prior visit, where I stayed in a very touristy area, this location made me feel like I experienced the real Venice with excellent restaurants in a real neighborhood. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. Communications with our greeter was excellent. One minor improvement would be to make sure there are coffee pods for at least the first morning. We ended up buying the wrong size at the market.

Beautiful Apartment!

This place was amazing! Felt like a dream, the views are incredible! Location was perfect, quiet, and the space was plenty for two people. Maybe could squeeze 3. Would love to stay here again! The bed was pretty firm, and occasionally people like to take pictures outside the window because it's a historical location (Tintoretto's home).

A magical place!

My husband and I had a truly magical time in this perfect little Cannaregio apartment. A magical place!

Steeped in history

The flat was very comfortable and quiet. We loved finding the locations Tintoretto’s paintings and then returning to his flat. Close to the hustle and bustle of Venice but not in it. Grocery store was nearby. Kitchen was easy for cooking. Would return to this flat.

Perfect for two

The location is great, very pretty with plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, but also very quiet. The apartment is very charming and quirky with fabulous views of the canal. A great place to chill out and people watch in between sight seeing trips. The company is great, very organised and helpful and quick to respond to emails. We had a late flight and would have liked to checkout later as the apartment was available but 150 euros seemed like a lot to us. We had to leave our luggage at a self storage place nearby and kill some time in a couple of cafes and bars until our flight.

Our stay at Ca' Tintoretto was nothing short of magical. Serene and tranquil the apartment was a perfect choice for two and felt like home whenever we returned to our hideaway. We particularly liked cocooning by the arched window overlooking the lovely canal. A very peaceful and quiet neighborhood only a short walk from the Vaporetto (water bus) but away from the throngs of visitors in other districts of Venice. VOV was terrific to work with and helpful in providing a friendly greeter (Matteo) upon our arrival. Matteo was kind and generous with his time and provided us with some great suggestions. A fabulous stay overall.

perfect place to stay visiting Venice

We can not say enough about this property. Worth every euro. The communication with the host and welcome we received were outstanding. We had everything we needed to feel at home for our 3 night stay. Can’t find a better location if you want to be in walking distance but not in the crowded parts. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Apartment on a Quiet Canal

This apartment is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. It is exactly as presented in the photos, and is quite spacious with everything you need for a great stay. It was also immaculately clean. The property management company is top-notch and super helpful and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet, but it’s very close to some fabulous, authentic restaurants as well as the shops and action in the Strada Nova. Two grocery stores, green grocers, and pharmacies are just a short walk away. The location is away from the madness of the touristy areas, but it’s only a 20-25 minute walk to la Piazza San Marco. I would definitely stay here again.

What a nice place to stay for a week! A short walk from the vaporetto station in a quiet area. Restaurants and Bàcari close by. Friendly and reliable communication. The in-person meeting at the vaporetto-station by Caterina, and her showing us recommendations on the map were a great introduction to the appartement and neighborhood.

Wonderful week

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Ca’ Tintoretto. The property is exactly as seen in the photos and the location is on a small canal which is quiet and lovely. The property management was extremely helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

Views on Venice was founded in the late 1990’s when the concept of short term apartment rentals was in its infancy and rarely considered an option by most visitors to the city. As a ‘thirty-something’ Venetian excited by the new business and communication opportunities offered by the internet, I decided to link up with a close childhood friend in creating a partnership which, at the time, was a novelty in Venice.
The idea we had in mind was to approach the traditional management of my family’s apartments from an entirely different angle, while at the same time resisting the attentions of those wanting to transform my family's palazzo into a prestigious hotel.
Our aim was to offer these apartments, as well as those of friends, for rental to an international clientele who’d take pleasure in the comfort, freedom and authenticity of ‘living at home as a Venetian’ rather than merely observing the city from the confines of an anonymous hotel room or suite.
The common denominator then, as now, was to offer ‘something extra’ amidst an already extraordinary city - an added dimension which turns a ‘stay’ into an ‘experience’ and a 'dream' into 'reality'.
