The admirals house was great.

The admirals house was great. It had everything we needed and was more than comfortable for our one week stay.It was close for eating out and not too far from the local pubs and High Street.

Lovely location overlooking the harbour. Comfortable bed, good shower and a good equipped kitchen, however missing a cheese grater and baking trays could do with replacing. Owner is very friendly and helpful. The only downside to our staycation was the weather, which when you holiday in the UK is so hit and miss. Would stay again. Everything about the apartment was great and would have been scored a 10 but for the internet. It was advertised has having WiFi but this was non existent. Fantastic location with views over the harbor and a well equipped apartment. Great place to stay as long as wifi not required.

Great view of the Harbour, a very comfy bed.

Great view of the Harbour, a very comfy bed. Really helpful to have a cot and high chair provided for our son. A great location and price. The sofa had no seating support but the other furniture was great. I’d recommend you take a potato peeler and a large frying pan for cooking but most other things were provided and the host, Debbie, was very helpful. We’d also recommend buying a parking pass from the tourist office as it can be used at several car parks in the surrounding area as parking on the road was too congested. We will definitely return.

Being just out of season a lot of restaurants etc were closing early but despite this we still managed to eat well and Ilfracombe is a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was absolutely fantastic we had an amazing holiday and will definitely visit again!

Location absolutely excellent with fabulous views over the harbour.

Location absolutely excellent with fabulous views over the harbour. We loved Ilfracombe. Apartment was comfortable & clean with adequate equipment. Downsides were Wi Fi- unsecure network & very intermittent so this may be a disappointment to some altho the information on arrival does explain this. The garden at the back looked colourful & lovely to look out on but when walking up to it the picnic area was in need of a lot of care & attention. Perhaps the owners are in the process of clearing the area so it may well improve. Pity as it could be lovely, & probably was at one time.

Comfortable apartment for 2 people. The two flights of steep stairs could be a problem for some. The views of the harbour and sea are lovely, always something of interest to watch.
