Laundry service is outside of the house but we didn't have to use it for a 3 nights stay. Kitchen is great though.

The listing - which the host says they have changed - said there was a washer & dryer a feature that was important to us. Turns out the laundry was outside, across the yard, through a gate and through a locked door. So convenient in December! Oh, and no laundry basket. Large bedroom, decent space, very noisy and uncomfortable bed.

Much as pictured and described. MANY PLUSES: great location, beautiful; very well thought out and equipped, spacious bedrooms, clean bathrooms, great hot water, fabulous laundry room/appliances, much-appreciated off street parking behind a gate, friendly neighborhood, mid-week trash pickup; ok TV (Netflix access available but we didn't bother); extensive clear guidance and instructions, priced well. MINUSES: All solvable. We had initial hiccup with contacting owner re accessing property; it was dark and we misunderstood location of keypad. And we encountered a few roaches in the kitchen (trash, stove, oven), so kept our food in fridge and cooler we brought with us during our stay. Both issues reported to owners so they could be addressed. Owners took note and advised they had fumigation service. Overall a good stay.

This house is amazing. It is perfectly located for anything you want to do in San Diego. We visited the zoo, numerous beaches and more and all were easily accessible from here. Most within 20 to 30 minutes with traffic

This home was lovely and suited our needs for the weekend. Its very bright and well taken care of. The neighborhood was quiet and there's a park behind the property. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic house. It's even better than the photos. We had an amazing time.5 of us went, Grand parent, 2 parents and 2 kids. Plenty of room and it has everything you need.Location was great. We visited SeaWorld, sesame Place, the shops and did the trolley tour and it was very easy and convenient from the house.No issues at all and owner was great at giving information of places to eat and visit.I went to the cinema one night and the others were happy to stay at home. 10 minute drive.The house is nice and big and we loved having breakfast in it.Best location in San Diego.

Our stay here was wonderful. The house was clean and a perfect home base to explore San Diego. About 15 minutes or so from the airport. Had everything we needed. Communicate with owner was quick and she left info on the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfy and clean getaway

Nice home away from home with the in-laws. Great open space from kitchen to living room. There are 2 big bins of toys which we didn't discover until the day we left because it was in the closet of the room my inlaws were staying in. Love the fact that there is an entryway to the park right behind the house. Has the usual amenities shampoo/conditioner/body wash , kitchens staples. The only con for me and this is just because I have a 5yo Coffee table, and dining table are made of thick glass and there were a couple of glass floor vases in the room and living room that made me anxious because my 5yo is unpredictable so I was always watching him to make sure he wasn't leaning on the glass or running close to the vases. Other than that, nice space and good location.

Good place to stay

It's a nice little house in a quiet older (post wwii) neighborhood. Centrally located with easy access to all the freeways. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was great, as was the laundry. I never did completely figure out the thermostat, but it was warm enough for the winter week we stayed. The TV is huge.It's my 2nd favorite VRBO in SD, but a lot less expensive than my #1. My wife and I both would happily stay here again.

Contemporary Mecca

If you like cities, this is Mecca. Situated in LindaVista it is in the center of the city: about 8 minutes from the intersection of zHighways 163 and 8.We were minutes from Balboa Park and its museums and USD, a medium sized Catholic College on the bluffs overlooking the city and the ocean.The kitchen was spacious and well appointed with large windows looking out to a residential street. Tha bedrooms afford privacy and comfort.Altogether an urban delight.

Lock out

We had constant problems with the entry code. One time the local property manager had to come to the location to get us in. In addition, there was some exterior painting being done, while we we were out for the day. When we returned we got paint on ourselves as the railings were still wet and no Wet Paint sign was put up to let us know.

My husband and I bought this house January 2014: Our first home! We remodeled the all house with some modern and contemporary flavors. We lived inside for 3 years and planned to be here for a long time; then. I had my daughter. After 2 years, the house was starting to be too small for our growing family. We recently moved out to a 3 bedrooms house.
I've been living in the US for 10 years now, I am from France and my husband is original from Ecuador. We love traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people. Traveling with a family makes us realize VRBO was very convenient and very practical for families.

We bought this property because it was a perfect location for us. Very central, next to the freeway (the 8 and the 163 intersection), 10 mins from my work (in downtown) and 15 mins from the beaches (by my husband's work). Also, next to the Best Mall of San Diego, Fashion Valley with all shopping, theatre and restaurants.

We fall in love with this home because the direct access to Mission Heights Park. The house has a peaceful spirit and a playground for kids.
