Great family vacation

The room was very clean with updated decor. The view was wonderful. Hardly any waiting on the elevator, the grounds were manicured and clean and the beach was beautiful. Would stay here again!

Unit was very clean upon arrive and well equipped. Unit was nicely finished and furnished. The only issue we had all week was very minor and it was address by the maintenance team quickly. I would highly recommend this unit and the Gibson beach rental team. 5 stars all around.

Great vacation spot for family of 5

We love the Tops’l resort for our family vacation to Destin and this rental was the nicest one we have experienced. The updates to the unit are lovely and feel very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the parking garage since the weather turned rainy in the afternoons during our stay. It was so easy to rent beach chairs and go from the beach to the pool from the unit. We will definitely stay here again!

Do Not Rent @ Beach Manor

We stayed for 5 weeks. The conditions were awful. They were painting, grounding the floor, etc. We were made to move 3 weeks in for 6 days. Reservations were made in June 2022 and we were told in December about having to move. The other option was to stay in our place for 6 days. I described it like jail. Who would want to do that? Had I known the extent of the work being done we never would have stayed there. So many other options without the hassle. It was so loud 6 days a week with Sunday being so quiet. So…please be aware it’s a mess and according to the workers this will be going on for sometime. Rentor BEWARE!

Everything was exactly as shown and described. Gibson rentals has always been very easy to work with. Beach Manor at Topsl is a nice resort with nice amenities without being over the top or too crowded. The location next to the state park makes for really nice strolling on the beach.

June 2022 Stay

Absolutely perfect! We have three children and it was the perfect size for our family. I couldn’t believe how clean it was when we arrived. It had all the amenities we needed to stay for the week and was beautifully updated! We used the umbrella service each day which made it so easy. I like that it was not in the heart of Destin and the beach wasn’t very crowded, even during the busy summer season. We like to try different places each summer, but we will definitely be visiting again!

Easy and convenient rental experience. Just a couple things that would have made it perfect: Balcony and chairs were covered with cut hair that I cleaned up. It had also been tracked inside. The secondary bedroom is by the elevator. Thankfully it was quiet but lights in the hall kept the room too bright. Room darkening blinds would be beneficial. Sofa could use some steam cleaning.

January 2021 Stay

It's a Million dollar view! We stayed for nearly a month in this unit. Despite a few maintenance issues that we promptly fixed, be aware of the old uncomfortable furniture. The sofa and chair really need to be replaced as well as the master bedroom mattress. We would love to visit again but not if these things haven't been changed. Also could use a deep cleaning. Be aware the patio is fairly small but fit two chairs fine.

Excellent updates

This condo was very clean and the decor is beautiful. Appliances are newer and easy to use; the mattresses, pillows and linens are very comfy. My only suggestion is an update on the kitchen cookware and cooking utensils; they don’t match the high end feel of the rest of the kitchen. Tops’l is an older community but you’d never know by this condo! Worth the price for Beach Manor’s proximity to the beach. We’ll be back😊

This rental was perfect. Even during a rainy week, we enjoyed it very much. The view is perfect. If you are looking for typical Destin crowded condo scene, this is not for you. It is tranquil and quiet and just what we were looking for.

Great location for beach, pool, and restaurants

We love staying in Beach Manor! It’s a quiet building with mostly older residents and for us, that’s ideal. They are all very friendly. We have stayed in this condo multiple times and have always been pleased. It’s always been clean upon arrival but tracking sand in from the beach requires a better vacuum or constant sweeping. The things you should pickup from the store before you come to this condo includes: paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, paper plates, and salt and pepper. It’s adequately stocked with dishes and appliances for the price point. We will be back.
