Just finished a wonderful stay at The House of Mothers. The space was clean, good size for 2 people, and stocked with necessary amenities (towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, etc). The location was amazing— close to many restaurants, shops, parks, etc. but on a quiet street that allowed us to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city but still have a quiet nights rest. Our host was very quick in responding to any inquiry of ours and very communicative with check in instructions, tips, etc. Wonderful stay— highly recommend!

Fantastic location and beautiful flat

The flat was perfectly located, clean and had everything you needed. The architectural features were beautiful and there was adequate space and storage for two people. We would’ve loved to have given this 5 stars however unfortunately, we found the flat to be quite damp with a small outdoor shower area that was unusable. The street outside could get a little noisy at the weekend with people drinking directly outside the flat and the sound insulation from the flat above was a little poor so we would recommend ear plugs. Other than that you couldn’t have a better equipped flat on the best location! Many thanks for having us.

Great location

We were 3 people who stayed. The location is 20-25 min walk to center and all the squares and popular quarters Bairro Alto, Baixia, elevator Santa Justa, etc. There is Rua Esperanza (street) right down the hill from the house which has a great little cafe and restorant. We loved the counter in the bathroom, it was huge and fit all our things. The third person sleeps on a pull out bed in the living room and only the bedroom has a window.There is also a window on the door itself. The communication with this host was fantastic! We were traveling a lot, and we got the check in instructions only a day earlier (would recommend to send them at least three days in advance) but the host gave us a ton of useful information, and replied right away. He told us where to park our car etc. We recommend this place for busy travelers who spend a lof of time exploring the city. We would stay here again. Thank you. Chiado, Praca do Commercio, Tram 28,

3 nights in Lisbon

We spent three nights here recently! The apartment was in a great location. Able to walk most places. Was about 20-25 min ride to the airport. The host provided great recommendations but had to be reminded and didn’t provide check in info until we had less than 20 hours left to check in. The apartment was clean and well stocked. Has one bedroom and a pull out couch. We had two main minor complaints. The house smelt musty and of sewage. I’m not sure if it was because of all the rain they received the days we were there or if this was a normal occurrence. Secondly it was very hot with no windows to leave open. There was a fan and we were able to open the back patio door to help cool the bedroom down but had to close it up once we went to bed and it got very hot and stinky in there. All in all we enjoyed our stay and it served us well as a home base. Lisbon is beautiful and best seen on foot!

Schöne kleine Wohnung in einem tollen Viertel. War genau richtig für unser Wochenende.In der Innenstadt ist man schnell zu Fuß, für Abends gibt es in der Familie eine tolle Auswahl an kleinen Restaurants und Bars.Die Wohnung war sauber, der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter sehr nett und schnell.

Très bon contact avec l'hôte qui nous a fournit toutes les indications et renseignements utiles. Merci beaucoup! L'appartement est très bien placé et bien pensé: pas de place perdue, rénovation faite avec goût, cuisine et salle de bain bien équipées, linge propre. Il s'agit d'un rez de chaussée. 1 seule fenêtre pour aérer, peut être chaud en plein été ? 2 bémols: odeur forte d'humidité et bruit: la porte d'entrée est très mal isolée et il y a un restaurant juste à côté. Nous avions l'impression que les gens buvaient et riaient juste devant! Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un super séjour !

Gute Lage für einen Kurztrip

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super. Das Wohnzimmer liegt direkt an einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Supermarkt ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sauber und wie im Inserat beschrieben. Nur die Außendusche ist veraltet und konnte daher nicht genutzt werden. Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthalts ein großes Problem mit Motten, wovon es mit der Zeit auch immer mehr gab, ansonsten kann man die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Bem localizado

A casa está muito bem localizada e limpa, a unica coisa a apontar é o facto de teferir 2 casas de banho e 2 quartos, quando na realidade apenas tem 1 casa de banho e um quarto, uma vez que o outro quarto é na realidade um sofá cama. Se a situação dos quartos é facilmente ultrapassada, a situação da casa de banho é mais complicada, uma vez que fomis com um casal amigo.
