Descripción apartamento:
The loft apartment is inspired by the surrounding Gothic Quarter. It is located on the 4th floor with elevator access. It has one double bedroom, a bathroom with shower unit, lounge-diner with kitchenette and a sofa.

The apartment is in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Here, the remains of the old Roman city can be found, as well as the group of medieval palaces and convents that are the heritage of a splendid past. Barcelona was the capital of the Catalan counts and monarchs for five hundred years.

A wide selection of bars and restaurants with trendy furnishings are found just a few steps from the apartment. In spite of this touch of modernity, the historic Gothic Quarter of Barcelona still retains the old bohemian personality that characterized it before it became one of the most popular areas of the city, frequented by local inhabitants and tourists. The apartments are very close to one of Barcelona’s most renowned Gothic buildings, the church of Santa María del Mar.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
CHECK IN- In accordance with the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security it is compulsory for all guests staying in tourist accommodation establishments to be registered by means of a national identity document or passport. This information will be notified to the police within 24 hours of your arrival.

- Access to our apartments will be provided either by using an App on your Smartphone or by introducing a code on the keypad you will find next to the entrance door.

- As soon as your booking is confirmed we will send you an email which will include an attached form which we ask you to fill in with your personal details and those of the other guests before making the payment and signing the rental agreement.

- 24/48 hours before your arrival and once the form has been completed you will receive a link to activate the keys.

- We would kindly inform you that our system is unable to generate the access codes until all the guest details are registered, full payment received, and the agreement signed and returned.

- Our apartments have noise measurement systems and night security.

- We ask you to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.

HOURS:- Check in time: from 3.00pm onwards.- Departure time: before 11.00am- Please inform us of your expected arrival time

DEPOSIT- Your deposit payment will be returned within a maximum of 72 hours as soon as the vacated apartment has been checked.

OTHER CHARGES- Tourist tax not included in the final price

Pictures are extremely accurate. Very close quarters but your time is intended to be spent out and exploring. Television is small and ancient so be prepared for that. Only other issue was some of the laundry equipment wasn't working and please consider some instructions in English. Overall clean and adequate for what we needed. Couldn't ask for a better location.

Apartment in Gothic Quarter

This was a great place to stay. The location was awesome, the apartment was as per the pictures, the security was good and the host was very responsive. The only issue that we had, and this could be a Barcelona thing, was the smell in the bathroom, especially in the shower, coming up from the drain.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay despite problems with the check in process. Not sure why I could not link with my iPhone. Very clean. Could use more hangers in the closet and hooks in the bathroom and holders in the shower.

Alles in allem also wie von einem Airbnb gewohnt.Wer seinen Putz-Fimmel jedoch trotzdem ausleben möchte findet genügend Material auf dem Balkon.Die Betten waren stabil, Kissen und Decken ausreichend vorhanden.Die Couch war bequem und eignet sich bestimmt als ein weiteres Bett.Die Klimaanlage war ein Lebensretter bei dem Wetter, das Spanien zu bieten hat. Everything was as announced in the description. Contact with the host was very easy. Check in easy and quick as well. Nice area and lively neighborhood. Close to everything in the heart of Barcelona Gothic neighborhood. We were missing the cooking basics like salt, pepper, sugar, oil and vinegar, or bowls for the morning. When you arrive from abroad, it was not handy because we had to buy everything and throw away these basics at the end of our stay . Only one clean bathroom mat, one dish / hand towel in the kitchen , and 3 toilet paper rolls for the whole week were not enough for our own comfort and hygiene. We didn’t have any spray to clean the apartment/ furniture/ toilets/ table with. In times of Covid this would have been appreciated. Despite what is mentioned above, I would recommend this apartment.

It is small (you can hear what is going on in the bathroom), however has all the necessary for a short stay. Good windows for sound isolation and with airco, really needed in summer. As the apartment is an open space, if you are sleeping and the other person wakes up and switch on the light, you notice it (maybe not if you are a heavy sleeper).

Would struggle for space with full su3 suitcases if we stayed longer but for a short break it was perfect, and really good value for money.
