The property itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location was very convenient to downtown shopping, running trails, and entertainment. The reason for the good review rather than an excellent one was primarily due to some odor issues during our stay. There was a noticeable fried-food smell coming from the Asian restaurant on the first floor. It wasn’t too bothersome initially, but became more noticeable after the first day, particularly in the evenings. We tried opening the windows at night to help air out the unit, but unfortunately, there was also a sewer-like odor coming from the direction of the balcony. As a result, we eventually had to keep the windows closed and run the air conditioning to minimize the odors.I want to emphasize that the unit itself was lovely, and these issues appear to be related more to the surrounding property than to the condition of the unit. It’s unfortunate because otherwise we really enjoyed the property and its location. I hope the odor issues can be addressed, as resolving them would make an already very nice property an excellent place to stay.
