I have NEVER posted a review on any thing before this however I feel that the holiday we had in Melbourne based around St Kilda cottage was so impressive I had to sing the praises of Jeanine and her Cottage. We were met and introduced to the cottage by a very pleasant and accomodating host (she actually offered to drive us to locations in melbourne!!!!). Jeanine had organised hampers for breakfast including 1Kg of bacon, freshly laid eggs (from the back yard chooks) tomatoes, real coffee, cereals, breads (two loaves, 4 litres of two types of milk etc etc. She had also organised Xmas hampers of plum puddings, BIG bon bons, chocolates, a Xmas tree and heaps more trappings. On top of that was a bottle of red and a bottle of champagne. The kitchen pantry had enough staples in it to keep my family well supplied for at least a week. Unbelievable!!The cottage it self was cute and very comfortable. It was cool in 39 degree heat and warm enough when the temp dropped to 24 degree days over the Xmas period. We hosted a dinner party with nine people quite easily( all invitees enjoyed the cottage as well). The location to both St Kilda Ackland street and St Kilda road for tram access is incredibly easy.I would have no hesitation in staying there again with my family.I would happily post my contact details for recommendations but I'm wary of identity fraud. Believe me when i say the place is great for a family vacation.
