The “Blue Adobe” cottage was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It was designed beautifully and modern. The floor heating kept the whole place warm. There were plenty blankets , pillows and even an air mattress which we did use when my little one had Altitude sickness. We had a 23 hour drive basically and our host was extremely accommodating to that. There were plenty dishes and serving ware for basic meal. There is only a small fridge so I recommend only getting 1 meals worth of ingredients at a time. They had basic spices, paper towels and dish washing materials. It was very hard to find places to eat in Taos that were open late at night or even past 3 pm. Most places cater to breakfast or brunch. There are places for take out at night and places to eat if u don’t wait til the last minute like us. They have a wonderful fenced in area behind the cottage for your dog. The front gate doesn’t stay close so be mindful if your dog runs off like our corgi likes to do. Luckily he doesn’t like the cold and gets scared easily and turned around. There isn’t access to a washer and dryer but we did notice some laundromats nearby. The cottage is close to markets and not far from Walmart. And there was also a great little welcome gift of wine an cheese from the hosts as well. They also had organic products from Trader Joe’s. I doubt we will ever go back to Taos to stay because the town is just not our cup of tea. The ski resort there is more for experienced skiing and snow boardin
