This property was overpriced. As other reviews noted, the basement bedroom had a sharp musty odor - also, the ceiling was not finished in the basement; you could see the insulation through a hole in the ceiling. There was a humidifier in the basement but it did not alleviate the smell. Several of the pans were not clean (literally had food and/or grease on them) and some of the mugs were not properly cleaned (i.e. coloration came off when I washed them). The kitchen is not properly stocked; I could not find even one cereal bowl and had to eat from a mixing bowl. The paint was peeling on the sinks and showers; the house had not been properly renovated in a few decades. While the picture makes the property look private, it is surrounded by houses on all sides with a noisy road nearby. At breakfast, we sat outside staring at two cars in the neighboring driveway and a bunch of houses. If you are looking for a tranquil retreat in the woods, this is not it. We might have overlooked one or more of these issues at half the price but at this price point, we expected more. The house is spacious, if a bit oddly laid out, but is not a proper 4 bedroom. It was clean apart from the dirty dishes which were pretty gross.
