Wonderful property

Cosy Beach Shack with Amazing Views!

Our stay wasn't long enough! Absolute beachfront - we had the beach to ourselves, stunning views, and all the amenities and more than we needed. Erica, is a great host. We will be back.

A perfect beach house getaway!

We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back for a longer stay in the summer. Erica’s great attention to detail was impressive. Her house offered everything we needed plus more. We highly recommend staying here.

Our Beach Break

Our stay at Erica’s beach house was just perfect. The property is perfectly located and offered us a slice of tranquility in our hectic schedules yet at the same time we enjoyed beach walks, fishing and everything that nearby Hobart had to offer. Erica was wonderful to deal with and made our stay both memorable and convenient. Definitely would love to return to Opossum Bay!

Fantastic property, cosy, clean, perfect location right on the beach. Loved the duke box! Great little peice of nostalgia. View was amazing and host very lovely. Thank you and highly recommend. Everything you need is there. We will be back.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay at Opossum Bay. The beds were comfortable, lovely crisp linen, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. Sitting out on the deck watching the water was mesmerizing.

Just lovely!

We had such a lovely stay! The location is beautiful and it was just perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We unfortunately left our kindle behind but the owner let us know straight away and we organised to collect it so that was great! We'll definitely be back :)

I am recently semi retired retail jewellery store owner for over 20 years
Darts Jewellers was a well known loved local jewellery store which was a family business for over 60 years. Since leaving the business in 2015 I have enjoyed 2 significant trips travelling Australia, but love nothing more than coming back to Hobart! I have 2children, boy and girl in their twenties. I have always lived in Hobart and have spent many years in the Opossum Bay area, where my mother and grandmother both having shacks in the area as well

I spotted this property whilst out walking with my parents and immediately fell in love with the spectacular position with uninterrupted views of the Derwent River and of course beautiful Glenvar Beach, with its easy access and quiet calm waters, ideal for hot summer days
