Short family stay

The unit is nice and comfy. Looks like the pictures. The location is good, though in an old neighborhood, it is close to the freeway, and only 15 minutes from downtown or sea world (with no traffic). We enjoyed our stay

Impressive apartment

We all loved staying at this apartment. It was in a great, central location, close to Balboa Park, the airport, the zoo and Mission Bay. The kitchen and bathrooms are all updated. It was large enough that the five of us could all have our own space. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and were very happy with the Thai/Laos place down the street, Kin Saep, and the ice cream place across the street, Tocumbo, which had unique tropical flavors. The property manager was very communicative and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice Apartment, not as clean as advertised.

This place did the job, but be wary. The neighborhood was a little in the sketchy side. Overall, comfortable, but the place was “lightly cleaned”. The floors were disgusting, there was hair, dust and crumbs on the furniture. We cleaned them the floors. There was recently fixed damage on the walls. We notified the manager, who was very nice and communicative, but didn’t offer any net new cleaning, reimbursement for the $30 of cleaning product purchased, or even a return of a portion of the cleaning deposit. The real kicker was that we had to do a load of towels, in the community laundry room. I then find out that the host has submitted a claim against renters insurance for a washing machine repair. Not broken when I used the one time. This, even though it is a shared laundry with the other unit(s).

Great Hideaway!

The interior is tastefully decorated, perfectly appointed and immaculate. I was a bit concerned about the neighborhood at first, but everyone we interacted with was very nice and we felt very comfortable. The checkin was flawless and the experience was too. Great home. Perfect for families and kids.

Nice Unit

The surrounding neighborhood is a bit rough, but the unit is down a lane and removed from the street. Once inside, you wouldn’t know where you are…unit is clean, modern, and almost brand new. I would agree some darker curtains would work best in the master. Mattresses are comfortable. Owner is easily accessible, and answered questions quickly. Bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets—everything else is provided. Close to Balboa park which we were looking for.

Pleasantly surprised

Our family of 7 was very impressed with this home and the peacefulness of the area. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. The home decor is very welcoming and the checkin process was very easy. The EV charger was definitely a bonus! The owner Joseph was prompt in his replies to my questions and was very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again!

Very nice place!

The good: This place is as advertised. Very nicely remodeled and up to date. Appliances are very high end, something you wouldn't normally find, we especially like that it has gas for cooking! The cooking pans could use some updating. The beds are comfortable, so that was great! Parking for your vehicle was convenient and lots of room especially if you have an SUV. The neighborhood was very quiet, another plus for sure! The not so good: In the master bathroom, they setup the lighting so it automatically switches on when you enter the bathroom and turns off on it's own, nice feature until you need to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, so I wish there was a way to turn that off. Although the shower is nicely updated, the shower isn't as convenient to get in and out when trying to get the water warm, the shower could also use a caddy to put your shampoo, etc. In the master bedroom there is a light from the parking area outside shining into the room, some dark curtains would be nice. I only point this out because I'm sure when your on vacation, a good nights sleep is important. Only last thing that I would point out is unless you're familiar with San Diego, the neighborhoods are a bit on the older side and this is no exception where this house is located. Can look a bit intimidating if you expect it to be different. I just think people should know. Other than that, we felt safe and it was a nice stay, the place was well stocked and the owner was more than accommodating!

Super clean & Professional Owner

Stayed here for 2 nights while in San Diego - really appreciated how accessible the owner was to my questions both prior and during the stay. The property was exceptionally clean but I would note that there was a fly problem on our first night there- we literally had to swat 8 flies, however that did not impact the rest of our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice property!

The property was clean and as pictured. Beds were comfy and there was great communication with our host. A little disappointed in the immediate surrounding area, but the property itself was terrific.

July 4th in San diego

The unit is clean and cute. Very well remodled with comfortable beds. Our only issue was the check out time and the fact that the owner was extremely inflexible. Mandatory Check out at 10am meant that we didnt have enough time to have breakfast in the house! The owner refused to even give us 1 hour extra ! If you are early risers its a good clean house 15 min from everything

The property was very newly remodeled and clean. I loved the thought put into the decor and aesthetic of the space. It was so close to everything, Balboa Park, downtown and La Jolla were all less than 20 minutes drive. Also all the extra amenities like pots and coffee in the kitchen, beach towels made it feel like home away from home.

Great Apartment!

Definitely recently renovated. All new appliances and furniture that was tastefully decorate. Great location close to metro and only 15 minutes to downtown San Diego. Plenty of parking!

Memorial Day get away

Loved being here it’s so nice and had plenty of room. Was super clean and easy to get into contact with the owner for any questions I had. 100% would recommend.
