To be quite frank the house itself was fantastic, great views very spacious and clean. However, the issue is with the Accom property managers at Avoca Beach. Prior to even staying at the residence i got the third degree about noise and cleanliness of the property, and asking about how many people were staying and constant harping of you cannot exceed how many people you have said on the booking, which i had no intention of exceeding because we only had 4 Couples coming and 2 children, but for some reason these people would not believe it. Not only did i feel like they were accusing me of already breaking the ridiculous rules they imposed it felt like they had no customer service. The funniest, actually the most ridiculous thing they said was that, i myself cannot pick the key up being a male and i would have to come with my partner. I am not even kidding about this. This should give you an indication of how they treat their customers.
Then on the Saturday i received 7 missed calls about noise and music being too loud, but rather go through this whole process of them being useless at customer service i just let it go. The Azure Welcome pack states that you can have music on up till midnight (you can’t, because you will get an ear full the next morning) and we used the sound system that was in the house which isn’t loud, i know this because there was a 2-year-old sleeping just above where we were. Meanwhile this is in their designated outdoor BBQ entertainment area.
Then on checkout we spent the whole morning cleaning the house because we all have investment properties, so we understand what it feels like to have a house be given back in a state of disarray. only to get a further bill and charges because, there was rubbish, get this, in the bin!! and clean dishes in the dishwasher which just needed to be put away as well as ornaments needing to be put back in place (we had 2 children there, so moved them out of the way so they wouldn't get broken) . My group of friends go away every year to really nice holiday houses, we have been doing since we were 27, we have stayed in places far more expensive and nicer than the Azure, but have never been treated the way we were by these property agents, if the owner of the premises reads this, do yourself a favor and get rid of those pelicans and get some property managers who know how to deal with customer.
So overall, great house, great location, pity about the muppets managing it.
