Amazing stay

Perfect location and gorgeous property! We especially enjoyed the sunroom and the hot tub! There is also a ping-pong table in the garage, which was a blast! We would definitely stay here again.

Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals (the local agent) were excellent at giving information before and during our stay. The property itself was wonderful with all amenities and well-positioned to walk to the centre of town. Great information provided on local dining options, which we took advantage of.

Great location, beautiful home

Exactly as advertised. Central to Bend activities, really enjoyed the treehouse feel, and perfect for our group of 5. We would stay here again!

Great place for families!

We really enjoyed our stay! Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful house! The kitchen is well appointed and there was plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed hot tubbing under the stars after we figured out the heater on the hot tub. All in all great! Will definitely stay again the next time we visit Bend.

Loved It!

Our whole family loved staying at this house. It felt like we were miles away in the woods yet we were so close to downtown. The sun room and the hot tub were our favorites. Everything was clean and easy to find. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bend!

Fantastic!

Wonderful house for a girlfriend’s getaway. Comfortable, well stocked. The sunroom was really nice and cheery. Lots of extras (bikes, fireplace, ping pong table, games…etc) that we didn’t get to take advantage of as our stay was so short…we loved the mid century vibe.

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed our time at High Camp Retreat. Although we didn't do any cooking, the kitchen was fully equipped if we had wanted to. The home was incredibly clean and cozy (more so than any other VRBO I've stayed in). I loved the sunroom, watching the birds in the trees in the morning. The fireplace was also one of our favorite parts of the home, kept us extra warm each evening.

On the plus side, the property was clean. Beds comfortable. Easy walk to town. Kitchen function met minimum standards. I found the living space under furnished.

Perfect location, cozy

Nice stay here in Bend. We’re a family of 6. 2 teens stayed upstairs and 2 downstairs in king bed. Clean house. Loved the sunroom to relax after days activities. Perfect location close to downtown… we’re runners and ran to the trails and river paths. Enjoyed the bikes. Great listing of restaurants we enjoyed!

Welcoming Home in Wonderful Neighborhood

This was the perfect spot for our short visit to Bend. The setting is lovely - a tree-lined, well-established and quiet neighborhood. The home itself was spotless, well stocked and very welcoming. All amenities described in the listing were there and in good working order. We particularly enjoyed the sunroom. Check-in/out couldn't have been easier and we all agreed we'd stay again without hesitation.

Perfect location, super cute house.

Absolutely loved staying here. We were able to easily walk to all major Bend restaurant/shopping "hubs". Particularly loved the sunroom! Would have loved to use the hot tub but it wasn't available. When we had wifi issues the host quickly resolved it for us. 10/10!

Amazing location with a view and cozy living space

Stayed with a few friends and really loved the place! Good location with easy access to Bend’s attractions. We got snowed on pretty hard during our stay but the fireplace really kept the place warm! Highly recommend! If I have one request it would be that the bathroom doors could use locks. Not really a big issue if people knock but it would be nice to have the privacy. Other than that, an excellent property!

Our Yearly Visit to Bend

My spouse and I along with four friends did our annual visit to Bend to see a show at the midtown ballroom. We had a lovely stay. We stayed in the master suite. Very comfortable with deck and hot tub off the room which sadly we didn’t use. Our friends were comfortable too, although two grown men stayed in the upstairs room with twin beds. Better suited for kids up there! The kitchen had everything you could need. We used the BBQ which was great. The location is perfect, close to downtown. I especially loved the atrium room where I sat and read while listening to the rain. We would rent this house again!

Summer Get Away

The house was very conveniently located to Portland Avenue just a few blocks from downtown (easily walk or ride bikes) and Newport (lots of places to eat - again easy walk/bike ride). Back deck was really nice - bikes were great as well as ping pong table. Beds were REALLY comfortable. The only feedback I would give was that there is little sitting area in the living room - if you have 6 people there is not enough seating for everyone to watch a movie and the current furniture is not comfortable. I would suggest to the owners to get a comfortable sectional at some point. But can't beat the location.

Bend getaway

We stayed here recently with a family of five - my wife and I and two of our adult children with one partner. We had a great time. The house was clean, perfectly sized for our family with comfortable beds, nice hot tub and nice amenities (wifi, TV, AC, bikes to use, etc). Everything was as advertised with no complaints. The location is very good with easy access to downtown and a very nice park (we generally walked into town). Minor issues were that the grill was dirty when we arrived but easily cleaned. And there were only four forks in an otherwise well stocked kitchen. Overall we had an outstanding time and would recommend this property without reservation. It is in a quiet neighborhood which is emphasized and was perfect for us.
