Nice Property and Location

The property was in a great location and close to Whole Foods, a shopping mall, and a nice park. We traveled via Uber to Georgetown, DuPont Circle and Smithsonian museums for about $12-15 each way.

Great unit and perfect location

The unit was clean, bright and in a perfect location. Communication with management team was great. We had a couple small issues that were addressed immediately. Would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Great property.

This was a great property! The check in was smooth and easy. Apartment was exactly has described. Everything was clean and the views were awesome. The lobby concierge staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. The Global Luxury Suites customer service experience was professional and knowledgeable. Thank you.

The apartment was beautiful. It was modern and spacious. The little welcome basket was a nice touch. We had an issue with one of the beds, which was not put together using hardware, but painter's tape, and fell apart. The only issue waa getting that repaired as it is not a building issue but the rental group issue. I had to argue with the group to get a cot while we waited three days for maintenance. We were told they were sending a new bed which is why we had to wait, but the gentlemen who came were yold to repair it. That being said the three maintenence workers were lovely. The building itself was beautiful. No excessive noise ( except for one very large dog). The little game room was nice (not an arcade) but it had shuffleboard, pool and checkers. The pool is more a lounge pool. It is only 3.5' deep. I could swim (as i am short)but my family could not. It was still refreshing on a hot day and never crowded. There is construction going on next door but you don't hear it at all. The neighborhood is very walkable and has stores and restaurants and a mall close by.

DC Condo

The check in process had a disconnect. I filled in the Signature form, and asked that instead of sending my ID and Credit card online, that I present it to the front desk. I was told that this was OK by the person that I talked on the phone with Global Suites/Churchill. Twice, including the day of travel/check in day. During my travel that morning, my reservation was CANCELLED, AS WE DISCOVERED UPON ARRIVAL. A Very Nice Churchill employee, Stacy, was able to help get things fixed, but this took about 90 minutes after traveling all morning. Very frustrating, the most convoluted check in process I've ever encountered. The unit was nice, and pretty much as the photos, but a few things were rough and need attention, the cabinets and floor at a couple of spots. There were only privacy curtains in the living room, and 2nd bedroom, but these did not help AT ALL during the night as the rooms were still very lit up by the outside lights. NEED BLACKOUT CURTAINS. Also need NEW MATRESSES, as they were very hard. Coffee pot was broken when we checked in, I emailed Twice about this, no reply. The unit was clean, and very convenient which was good. The AC worked just OK, when it was not that hot outside, I wonder how it would work in Hot weather. With some help, I wouldn't mind staying there again, but the unit needs some fixing and touch up.

Could have been much better

First off, the pictures of the inside living room and kitchen are accurate. My biggest issue is that the description on this page is not accurate. We were looking for a rental that had king-queen-queen as described. We received a queen (master) with a second bedroom that had 2 twin beds. The third queen is a pullout couch in the living room. When I spoke with the onsite maintenance folks, they said that they had not seen any rooms with a king bed. Sounds like a bait a switch tactic. Global luxury suites (the company that manages/owns this VRBO) had issues with their computer system the whole week. Check in was a pain. The VRBO is part of a multistory high rise with a combination of different tenants. The front desk/concierge person was very nice but new; she had no idea how the check in process was supposed to work and she didn't even know Global luxury suites had VRBOs in the property. The email instructions only had a 800 number to call for issues/support. They didn't offer the number of the onsite employee that manages the VRBO properties even though her office was literally 2 doors down from the concierge desk!! I ended up waing almost 2 hours just to get the key in the room. When we got to the room, one of the twin beds had dead skin/debris and and hair on the comforter and pillow and hair between the sheets. There were extra sheets so we changed them out but not a clean duvet cover so my daughter slept without a comforter the first night.

The building is full of young professionals and foreign students, people are very friendly and look happy…very similar to many high rise buildings in Newport NJ across from NYC…room design is good for a family stay…

Great place, near shops and Metro. Pool and rooftop grill/dining area were great. Comfortable apartment with lots of light.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. My parents first in the area. They wanted to visit DC and I knew the area well. The condo was close to the Metro and Whole Foods, so it made it easier for us. Had issues with guest bed and guest bathroom, other than that, we enjoyed the condo. The checking process needs a little refinement. I had to call the management company to get mailbox access code. It was not sent to me. Everyone we meet on the property were helpful. I would recommend this place.

Weekend in DC

Clean, spacious condo. Seemed fairly new. Had everything we needed. Liked property. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping and Metro. Quick Uber to the National Mall. Would definitely stay there again.
