All in all our family week was great. GROUNDS:The house was good for the number of people we had-15. The kids loved the pool and spent many hours in it.
The location was adequate, but don't expect it to be close to a swimmable beach. Jaco is the closest best beach for kids.
The little market down the street is good for snacks, drinks, and small staples.
The quard at the entrance is very attentive and takes his job.seriousely so you feel safe.
HOUSE: The beds are comfortable but linens are really worn.
AC: Two units did not work, they fixed one and promised to replace othe other but they never materialized. That was frustrating.
Kitchen: we had a chef in each night that was phenomenal! Thank goodness because the pots and pans were also old, scratched and worn that I'm not sure how I could have used them. Many of the plastic glasses were cracked so they leaked.
Water pressure is a huge issue often leaving soapy hair and half finished showers. I was told this was to be expected. So we dealt with it and chalked it up to the CR experience.
One of the best parts of the house is Audrey. We used his services for so many excursions and all but the fishing was great. He genuinely cares about his visitors and wishes to make the vacation memorable.
All in all we enjoyed the house but it does need alot of updating and minor repairs. New pots and pans, glasses, and outdoor furniture, (as the rattan was in shambles and very uncomfortable) would make a huge difference. I think people would pay a bit more for a more updated house-that has awesome potential!
