Thank you for your review Luis but I do think 3 stars is a little harsh considering your started your review with the words “it’s a very nice place”. There was a mix up with your grill order (we use an outside company for Grill Hire) for which we apologized for and asked whether you wanted us to still provide it or refund your payment. You requested us to provide the grill. However, once you checked out you then decided you wanted a refund of your grill hire payment and pool heat payment. As the grill was delivered the grill hire company would expect payment so we could not refund this. We also advised that as you did not mention any problems with the pool heat during your stay we would be unable to refund for any issues that were raised post stay. I understand the management team aren’t available out of hours unless it’s an emergency but any issues can also be sent via the VRBO interface as you did with the grill. I will have my property manager check out the issue you mentioned with the exterior light bulb.

I was waiting for your review Darren and you did not disappoint me. You were so rude and demanding from start to finish of your booking, this is not acceptable behavior. Firstly, you did NOT check the home was ok prior to check in at all! This is a complete fabrication on your part and you have only said this to add weight to your totally untrue review. You had traveled during hurricane season and during a major hurricane – had you reached out to us (like a lot of guests did) we would have advised a few pool screens were out which is pretty much expected if you arrive 48 hours after a hurricane has passed through.. The pool screens were also fixed for you in a timely manner. However, you demanded a refund of your stay , we could not authorize a refund as you had full use of a perfect home and could still use the pool (not all pools in Orlando are screened so its ok to use them). There was also an issue with the lock and a problem with pool heat (for which we refunded your pool heat payment for). However, we could not give you a free stay for this reason. We apologized but you were not happy hence this review

Thank you for your review but in all honesty I am really disappointed as the following are the only issues you raised with us during your stay – “Hello we have arrived and found everything to be in order. I will tell you had some trash outside on the lawn but we picked it up. Also a button is missing on one of the chairs but we reported it. We saw there is an air conditioner unit in the garage. How do we turn it on? our pool lights are not working” . These minor issues / questions were fixed or answered for you in a timely manner so your 2 star review and further issues raised really do surprise me, surely you would have raised them considering you took the time to let us know re the pool lights?. You are also advised prior to your arrival that we only provide basic supplies to you – eg roll of bin bags, 2 dishwasher tablets, toilet roll and kitchen towels. This is just enough to get you through the first couple of days until you have time to do a shop. So why you are reviewing us 2 stars on this and even mentioning it at all in your review does not sit well with me. Our homes are regularly treated by a Licensed Pest Control Company, had you mentioned ants to us we would have sent the team back asap to take a look for you. So again your review seems unfair.

Thank you for your 3 star review Kisya, although I do feel 3 stars for this resort is a little unreasonable considering the issues actually raised. Had you let us know during your stay there was an issue with the blinds I could have sent Maintenance to the home for you straight away. We only advertise the home as having basic essential supplies (toilet roll, paper towels, a roll of bin bags and 2 dish washer tablets) enough to get you through the first night until you have had time to do a shop so this should not have come as a huge shock to you as we were quite upfront and transparent regarding this. I will forward your feedback regarding toilet paper and paper towel quality to my Property Manager to take a look at. I will also ask him to check the pots and pans – again if you had only raised this during your stay we could have provided extra stock for you.

Thank you for your review Nancy although I am saddened really by your 3 star review considering you said the house is exactly like the pictures and you did contact us to let us know how beautiful it was when you checked in. I’m sorry you found the fridge not big enough, however, the size of the fridge was evident in pictures and it is the traditional American side by side fridge freezer. This is not something any other guest has ever found issue with in all honesty and it’s the type of fridge you will find in all short term rental homes. The kitchen only has basic supplies eg pots pans, plates, cups, glasses etc – there is more than enough to prepare meals. I am sorry with the confusion for pool heat on your last day. As you had extended your stay once in the home it was accidentally turned off on your original departure date – we did apologise for this and refunded the payment to you. I have checked your conversation log and I cant see where you raised any cleaning issues at all – the first mention of this is in your review. Had you contacted us we would certainly have looked at this for you.
