DO NOT BOOK

After emailing a request to ensure the house was thoroughly cleaned (one bad review already) I knew that we were not able to get a refund and were locked in at this point, management replied with “that’s always our goal” we were left with no choice but to accept whatever condition the home was in. Let’s talk about the neighborhood, traveling with young children we would ABSOLUTELY NEVER stay in a neighborhood like this. I will say the actual street was quiet, but getting there felt like a war zone. Cops everywhere, people that looked super suspect literally steps away from the home…heaven forbid we had to run out for something like the cleaning supplies we need upon arrival, but I’ll get to that. To sum up the location, I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. The only convenience was getting on the highway AWAY from this property. We literally had to do EVERY activity away from the rental property out of safety concerns. Actual home was described as luxurious! LIES, close to the Art District, not that close especially considering safety, modern, NO WAY!!! We spent 2 hours cleaning I emailed management who then replied they personally inspected after the cleaning before our arrival which there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY! The floors were filthy, bathrooms nasty, spiderwebs throughout the home, dirty mattresses, holes walls, creaky bathtub, unstable bunk bed, inoperable televisions. NO remote control worked properly. DO NOT BOOK HERE. See Google for the rest!!

Nice Stay

The house and property were perfect accommodations for our travel team. However, on Saturday night there was this crazy block party where cars were lining the street and it was so loud to about 1:00 AM with people yelling, car alarms going off, and cars revving their engines. I’m not sure if this is a regular occurance, but I was shocked that it was allowed.

Not as expected

I'm giving the ratings I am because the words "Professionally Cleaned" & "Luxury" are used to describe this home & that is not the case. The house was not clean to our satisfaction, the carpets were dirty & we had 3 children, one being a new crawler & there was no vacuum provided. The hard floors were dirty, we ended up sweeping the floors the best we could. The kitchen countertops were dirty, I cleaned all the surfaces at check-in & not too pleased to be cleaning during my vacation. The guest bathtub was dirty & those using it complained they felt like they were going to fall through the floor of it. The master bathroom glass & tub were dirty, soap scum from previous users. There was a lot of superficial damage to the home, toilet tissue dispensers barely attached, the front cover of the master bathroom drawer was peeling off (ad pictures are taken just right to not show that), several strips of the trim of the drawers in the kitchen were falling off, the walls were all marked up, red staining on the kitchen countertop. There was a foul odor coming from the garage, the bunk bed was not sturdy so much that 2 children were afraid to get in it for fear that it would break. The outside trash was overflowing, but we were required to put 4 days worth of trash in there too. There were also a lot of flies, probably from the trash outside. Lack of trash cans in the bathrooms as well. The fact that we felt the need to take photos as soon as we got in there to make sure we weren't blamed for the damage was telling. A rainstorm hit & knocked out the wifi, which is the only way to watch TV - there needs to be an alternative. Then the power went out for 4 hours, while we tried to check-out which is not their fault. But the Master Bedroom balcony flooded & because the porch slants TOWARD the house, we couldn't enjoy going outside the next morning. The concept of this community is great & the homes are visually beautiful, but they need to work on the maintaining of the properties themselves.

Beautiful home, great price

We loved your home. Everything was really nice! The master suite and bathroom were amazing! The home was located right off the highway! We expect to stay here whenever we travel to Charlotte!
