The management forgotten to send us the safebox key code to retrieve the keys. We emailed them a couple of days before, called their phone, left messages...nothing...
The arrival date, thankfully, after waiting half an hour outside the closed office, a cleaning staff employee driving around saw us and was kind enough to stop by, asked us if we needed any help, and called the office manager.
Another bad checkin surprise: despite we booked including our kid, they've forgotten to prepare the additional sofa bed (which we also asked for, via emails).
Next day: we went to discuss this to the property and to report dirty covers and floors. Initially, they were reluctant to recognize their mistake (they assumed we missed their email). After verifying things they apologized, but offered no compensation for all our troubles. With insistence, they arranged a second cleaning for the floor and beds.
Other minor things: dirty oven, no coffeemaker.
Note: all the communications with the management were OK, except the ones about the checkin....but that's the one that counts, therefore the two-star rating.
