Lovely appointed room with travel needs covered. Refrigerator & freezer that work! Friendly host. Parking garage - what a luxury in a rental. Across the street from a beautiful beach & lounge chairs available to enjoy spending time there. We recommend being next to the first life guard station. No crowds. : )

The host was very nice and communicated well until we were settled but then was unresponsive to a safety question (there was no smoke detector so we inquired about it but got no response). Also, the mosquitos were terrible (ate us alive) and the county had closed the beaches to swimming due to too much sewage in the water. And, the parking was impossibly tight, and is off of a very busy, dangerous road (this area is way over-crowded). So we did not have a nice time here, unfortunately.

Zak was a great host with great food destination suggestions. The unit was was very clean and well supplied. Great wifi. LOVED the close proximity to a great park and beach. We will miss our morning beach walks. Parking is very challenging, definitely use a small vehicle unless your party size does not allow. Or there is a parking option across the street along the outdside park fence. Would definitely return.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Everything was as advertised. We were able to make breakfasts and lunches thanks to the fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. There isn’t a lot of space for preparing food, but it was manageable. Also not a lot of space for hanging wet clothes and towels ( we got a lot of rain) but they do have a washer and dryer which was very useful.

Love the homey vibe. Beach proximity, washer & dryer, host ability to assist us with a non- VRBO issue was great. Parking was a minor issue but easily resolved. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you.

Prime location across from beautiful beach. Homeowner is very responsive. Would highly recommend staying on Windward side of island vs near hustle and bustle of Honolulu, and this property is lovely.

Great Location, Charming

The property was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The owners were responsive. We took advantage of the bikes and beach chairs, umbrella, coolers. The place was great! We are thinking of bringing the family back and reserving entire property!

Steve and I lived in Colorado for 10 years and had our first child. She was 3 months premature and weighed in at a whopping 1 pound!! When she turned one, she weighed almost 10 pounds. Her doctor said that she would grow if we moved her to a warmer climate.. that it was difficult for her to maintain a 98.6 degree body temperature without burning so many calories.

So, we moved to Hawaii.. with $500 in the bank and our little daughter. That was in December, 1979. And here we are 40 years later.

Our daughter has since married and moved back to Colorado and had two beautiful daughters. We had our son after moving to Hawaii. He married his high school sweetheart, and they now have 2 sons.
There's more to the story, so come and stay with us to hear the rest. We love our guests and have many repeat visitors to our lovely rentals.

We bought our house before it became a vacation rental. We owned a small travel agency and people were always asking if there was anywhere to stay other than Waikiki. So we decided to rent out some rooms in our home to accommodate our clients and to make a little extra money. There were no hotels in our town and the beach was just gorgeous. Little did we know that Kailua would become such a B&B mecca.

You will love the hospitality and service we provide our guests. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the property is like walking into Shangri La. Steve's gardens are breathtaking and the pool is beautiful.
