My wife and i stay here all the time, even thinking about buying. Whenever we have needed anything, they are very accommodating. All the staff are very friendly. We stayed in 102 and it was very nice. We will, of course, stay again.

Perfect spot for some RNR

My teen son and I visit the coast regularly (ever since he was little) and this was the best place we've stayed by far! Love the central coast location and the proximity to the beach. The beach is literally outside the back door! This unit was thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. Wish we could've stayed longer, but we will definitely be back! Thank you to the staff for the great communication before, during and after our stay.

Sea Gypsy

We love staying at Sea Gypsy in the off season! Everything was awesome! On Saturday, we didn't have WiFi which I assume was because there were so many people using it, but we really didn't mind because if we needed to get service we just walked down to the beach 😉 We also lost power Friday(?) but it was like half of Lincoln City did too, so no worries. It was a pleasant stay as it usually is!

Great Getaway

We had plenty of room and view was the best! Kitchen well stocked. One shower never heated up, which was hard with cold winter temps, but other bath was plenty hot. Just had to share. Main negative was upstairs neighbors. Night owls who appear to like rearraging furniture late at night. We stayed during King Tides and it was great! Easy access to beach.

Amazing view

Unit 102 is well decorated with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. Until was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Bring your own seasonings though as there were none. The hide-a-bed was comfortable and the master bed was comfortable, however if you like firm beds, this one isn’t for you. The only disappointment I had was that there was construction going on at the property right next to the unit and nowhere in the listing did it specify that.

Great stay

What a charming place to stay. We stayed in a ground floor unit. It was 1 bedroom and had a sleeper sofa and 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of room for us and l loved the convince of being able to to eat in. We were 6 steps from the beach, which was perfect for my step mom. The only complaint I have is the noise at all hours of the night. But that is no way the Seagypsys fault. Some people are just rude like that. I would have liked too have some hooks in the master bath to hang the wet towels, but that's just me. We will definitely stay there again.

Great views and great beach location

This property was very clean and well stocked with everything a person needs. Communication from owner was excellent and we had no issues with the property itself. The reason I gave it a 4 and probably should be 4 1/2, was the noise. The owner can’t control this but the guest above us was like an elephant walking on your head. Additionally, when we had the slider open to listen to the ocean, there was a steady stream of people walking by to go to and from the beach. It was a nice hot weekend so completely full and it seemed to have every guest walk by our slider talking, yelling and doing what people do. It was just annoying. Hard to relax when there is constant noise.

As outside the slider doors is a common area, that all our guests and kids can enjoy. Perhaps a second or third floor unit would be better as they are quieter. Storm wataching

We have come to the Sea Gypsy for many years and have stayed in many units. This is one of the best units we have stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked, other than no salt and pepper(which is minor) The bathrooms were well stocked with towels. We gave our grandson a bath in the tub in the front room bathroom and it didn't have a plug, so we had to use the kitchen sink plug. When showering, the water couldn't keep up with draining, also not a big deal (probably an accumulation of hair, from previous guests, which we weren't about to try to get out). For the most part it was clean. There could have been more wiping underneath things, and behind things, as when a toy rolled underneath something, there was quite a bit of dust. There was a fair amount of sand in the in the living room when we entered the unit. We didn't wear our shoes inside and were careful to keep our shoes at the front door. The carpet in the living room area, was full of sand and probably just needed to be well shaken outside. The king bed was comfortable in the back room. The hid-a-bed probably needs a new mattress. We could feel the bars thru the mattress, which made for long nights of little sleep. All in all we would stay in this unit again. It has a great location at the north end of the building and we know that this is one of the better updated units at the Sea Gypsy, compared to others that we have stayed in.

Our visit

Loved the location and being steps from the beach! We went to a comedy show at the casino was great!! Had a great dinner at Black Fish, our favorite! Daughter and I spent a day shopping at the Outlets stores and coffee/lunch at Salt, another great place. The unit we stayed in was ok, but has some maintenance issues. En suite bathroom shower head needs to be cleaned or replaced, bedside lamp closest to bathroom won't let you plug anything in it. The wall outlet says don't unplug so there is no way to plug in anything. We were pretty much cold all the time. Would be nice to have one of those fireplaces that you plug in and blows warm air. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. Was hoping for a deck of cards but did not find any. Overall we would stay at another Sea Gypsy room in the future. Thank you!

Billy thing nice about the place was the kitchen and the master bedroom voiceover was very uncomfortable the hideaway bed was terrible but better off with a bed in the room. It's way too expensive for what you got. No I will not be staying in that room with him

The stay was nice and the room was fine. Plenty of space for me and my wife. Just a few steps from the beach just as described. A couple of items that have been mentioned in previous reviews remain an issue. Screen door can be difficult at times. You have to use a piece of wood to keep door closed and the water comes in the unit when being pressure washed. Forgot about the water issue until I went and told the staff. They handled the issue within just a few minutes so that was nice. Overall a nice stay just need to get a couple items fixed that are known issues

Shellfish Endeavor

It was great to have everything we needed. We appreciated the pool towels, and the beach chairs-although one was starting to come apart at the top. The fan in the bedroom and ceiling fan were very helpful in keeping air moving through the unit. The dishes, utensils and cooking ware were plentiful and we so appreciated all the pillows and towels. The vacuum and broom were a helpful to keep the sand at a minimum. We had a great time sitting on the beach which was just a few yards out the door. We explored the beaches further north and south and the Yaquina lighthouse. We also took a trip to Tillamook, hiked a short trail to a waterfall-can't remember which, ate lots of seafood and went shopping for souvenirs, glass floats and at the outlets. Aside from some misty and cloudy days that kept the sun at bay it was very cool and there was lots to do. We had a very enjoyable time other than the pervasive smell of pot almost around every corner and a few late night running children above us. Thank you for a delightful week.
