Beach front condo

This condo is so cool, we have 3 kids and 2 adults and it was the perfect size. The best part is you open the sliding door and you’re literally on the beach. The unit was very clean and organized and stocked with everything you’d need for your long stay. The couch bed was a great option for more space to sleep too. I’d say the only con that had nothing to do with the condo it self was the pool area. The pool itself is ok but the hot tub is not really a hot tub, it literally shares the same space as the pool and is the same temperature as the pool. The sauna and bathroom area could use some work too, it’s just really outdated and seemed dirty. Other than those few minor flaws this place is awesome and we will be staying here again for sure! Thanks again for hosting us!

Birthday

Celebrated son's birthday at the Sea Gypsy again, the first time in this condo. It was well equipped kitchen-wise and linens-wise. The condo was wonderful...the stairs at the south end of the property are a little scary at the bottom couple of steps but we made it up and down safely. All-in-all a awesome experience!

Perfect Location

Loved the location of this rental, right on the beach in the middle of town. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean but did find a partially drank cup of coffee on the counter upon enter the rental. Only disadvantage was there was no dishwasher but that is a deal breaker for me.

Every time we come to Lincoln City, the Sea Gypsy is our go-to place to stay! Every room is unique, and its right on the beach, which doesnt get better. At an affordable price as well, BONUS! Its clean and has a home like feel! We never want to leave!

Fifty Sprays of Waves was awesome!

Very nice unit! Was very clean and well worth the price. You can't find a better deal! Having a private second bathroom/bedroom was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Unit 120! It is beautiful and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfy, and we loved the ocean view and easy beach access. We needed a small screwdriver to repair our beach tent, and the ladies in the office kindly found one for us to use! Thank you for everything - we will definitely be back!

Absolutely STELLAR!!! We had the best time EVER!!! Our place was spectacular and we throughly enjoyed our vist. The slider door was veryyyyy hard to open, the blind in the bedroom, the exhaust fan in the master bathroom is extremely loud and all these things definitely need fixing.

Always wanted to stay by the ocean. This particular trip happened suddenly because on returning from a trip I found that everyone in my household was sick and I needed to stay away until they weren't contagious. Everyone ended up fine and the stay here was fantastic. The condo was very comfortable and the view's were amazing. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to staying here again.

Loved your place.

I have 3 daughter's. All grown over the age of 25. We had the best time at your place. The view was perfect. It was decorated so adorable. Everything was very comfortable. This is now my favorite place to stay on the Beach. Definitely will be coming back. T back. It has everythin you could need for an enjoyable stay at the beach.

Snowing at the beach!

It was beautiful at the coast and fun to see the snow, I'd never seen snow on the beach before. Unfortunately the unit was freezing when we arrived. The on site manager explained the heater was supposed to have been fixed that day but it wasn't. They provided a space heater but it hadn't been turned on prior to our arrival. Not the managers fault and she was responsive in getting us a space heater and there were plenty of blankets in the unit but it until the next morning before it was a comfortable temperature. Since we were only staying two nights, that really put a damper on half our time there- just trying to keep warm. Hopefully the heater gets fixed, but if you use the space heater for the next guest, I recommend turning it on several hours before arrival so they can be comfortable. Other than that, the place was nice and we loved the view of the beach and being able to walk right down on the beach from our unit. Very handy to the outlet shops and restaurants.

Great place, but one major improvement needed

Let me start off with the good things. This place has a view and a closeness that would be hard to beat at twice the price. The room was significantly more spacious then the pictures led you to believe and the room just feels like home and so beachy. Never heard anyone above or beside us and the other people there all seemed friendly. Now let's discuss the not so good. I ask that you take this with a grain of salt, as I'm sure some of this isn't the norm after talking to my family that live at the beach and recommended this place. Before we arrive we are sent an email that our code may not work and they provide a back up. No big deal right? Except both codes don't work. The office was quick to remedy and got us in our room with a 3rd code and only after a small delay. The rooms are separated by not one but two doors. Think of a "Y" that closes at the top... and if not careful your hand is easily smashed should you be entering as one is leaving. Happened to both my kids and wife. Not sure why 2 doors are there but one really should be removed. And the biggest thing that we will struggle with on a return visit, the beds.... we slept on the bedroom bed one night and the living room bed on the other night. I woke up so sore and so out of alighnment I had to schedule an urgent chiro appointment upon returning home. My wife was in no better shape. It put a damper for the first couple of morning hours until we were able to loosen up and the ibuprofen could kick in. We almost considered buying an air mattress but already have some at home it seemed like a waste of money. The beds are soft, just significantly worn out and although there is a mattress pad, you still feel the springs and everytime your partner breaths the bed moves. Even with the above not so good stuff, we still had a good time and visit the beach at least 6 times a year. Not sure I would stay in Fifty Sprays of Waves again only due to the mattresses, but the Sea Gypsy will be a first look should we decide to stay at a hotel/condo again. Staff was great, great views, right on the beach next to the best kite flying spot, walking distance to several restaurants and bars and off the main road so noise isn't an issue. Oh and forgot to mention, leave your sliding door cracked and hear the waves all night! Very pleasant with a few things needed, but no place is perfect. To expect perfect, would be setting yourself up for disappointment and a poor trip.

Nice beach access

Very nicely decorated room. Easy access all around, to beach to parking to highway to restaurants. Walkable. Very accommodating.
