Tousley Cabins - Cosby TennesseeMold in kitchen cabinet from air handling unit leaking down through cabinet. Shelves, electric can opener, crockpot, and mixer had mold growing on them. Underside of cabinet had mold growing on it, directly above toaster and coffee maker that were both on countertop. Bathtub had hair in it and grime around side of tub. My wife and I checked in at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, rested, went to grocery store, then ate supper. Afterward, the more we looked through the cabin, the more filth issues we found. Crud was caked on headboard and footboard. Wardrobe dresser had one drawer completely missing and one broken drawer. Dirty pair of panties in bottom drawer of chest of drawers. In loft, under bedroom night stand there were pellets that looked like rat poisoning. It was dark and this is bear territory, so rather than sleep in car, we stayed in cabin Monday night. We packed up and left Tuesday morning. I requested from Evolve agency and from Nicholas Tousley with rn travel, that we be refunded at least two of the three days. It’s contactless digital check-in. You never see the host, Nicholas Tousley. After several attempts, I still haven’t received any response. Corey with Evovle is attempting to resolve issues. Cabin is beautiful inside and out, but, serious health hazard with the mold and terrible cleaning inside. Shed where trash goes is horrible. Host is fine when he accepts your money but don’t count on help if there are issues with the property.

Charming cabin

I could so live in a cabin like this! It’s beautiful. Our stay was very nice. Two cabins next to each other, the other one only occupied our last night. I would highly recommend it. Very private and safe feeling. It’s a fair distance from downtown Gatlinburg, about 25 minutes. But not an issue for us. Has a lovely loft bedroom and bathroom with shower upstairs, which we didn’t use. The bedroom downstairs is small but comfortable.

This cabin is peaceful and quiet, just a short drive to enjoy Pidgeon Forge, Gatlinburg and The Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

The place is dingy. Very dirty. We saw mold on top of kitchen cabinet. Curtains are dirty. Linens are dirty. The whole cabin was dusty. Host said there was somebody at the cabin before us which i highly doubt because the place looks like it hasnt been rented for a while. We had to go to a walmart to buy beddings, paper plate, pots and pans and towels which added to our cost. Believe me you wouldnt want to use anything they provide. Pots and pans are rusty. Dish rags looks like a mechanic used it. Garbage is piled up taller than me. My wife had to wipe down the whole place which killed our first day. I reached out to Evolve to possibly ask for a refund but they did not get back to me until 2 days later. By that time it was already hard to look for a different place to stay and we already spent the time cleaning the whole place. I would avoid this place at all cost and look for a different accommodation if you dont want your vacation ruined. It would be nice to get a partial refund for the horrible experience we had

Cabin for Gatlinburg Bridge Tournement

Very cozy cabin outside of the tourist areas but only like 20 minutes to Gatlinburg Nice quiet area ideal for a relaxing getaway. The living room was nice Could use a few updates - the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable and the sheets won't stay on the bed. The beds were fairly comfortable. The living room is nice and the kitchen seemed well supplied.

There were a few glitches in communication. We requested an early arrival and this was not communicated with the cleaning staff but it was not a huge issue. Also we were not informed that the gas fireplace was turned off for the season. Again not a huge issue. The cabin was beautiful and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Cabin was nice but would of like a better options of channels on the TV. Neither TV was working when we arrived and the main unit was unplugged. I tried contact the rental manager with a call and text but never got a response. It would be nice if there was directions for how to operate the heat for the unit. Overall it was nice but expectation on the little things was higher.

Perfect getaway

The cabin was beautiful and very close to all the places we were visiting to hike. I really enjoyed having coffee on the porch swing in the morning. The heater was the only thing that was a little hard to figure out. Wish there were instructions but after some trial and error I think we figured it out. Overall the cabin was super cozy and the location was great.

Anniversary trip

Third time we have stayed at this cabin. It's always peaceful here. We like it here because it's away from the traffic in Pigeon Forge. It snowed while we were there, so that made our stay even better this time. We plan on coming back again in September. There are some light bulbs out in different rooms, which makes some areas dark . Also, the front steps need to be repaired\replaced because there is a rotten spot on one end.
