Villa Maitai is located in beautiful, tree-lined Nile street, at the entrance to the Maitai Valley & within easy walking distance of Nelson's restaurant precinct, markets & galleries. This street is the gateway to the Maitai River walkway and swimming spots, the Maitai Valley bike, walking and hiking tracks, as well as the Centre of New Zealand walk!

A leisurely stroll into the city will take you past the Queens Gardens, Suter Art Gallery and Café, Riverside Swimming Pool and Gym, and onto the State Movie Cinema and Visitor Information Centre.

This charming villa offers tastefully renovated bedrooms, large galley style kitchen, laundry facilities, BBQ, a massage table & a large secure covered lockup for your bikes, kayaks or other toys.. with a hose down & repair space.

You'll love this sunny relaxing property, its pleasant facilities & the proximity to the city centre entertainment, the parks & gardens & the numerous walking and biking options just at your doorstep.

No need for a vehicle to transport you to the mountain bike trails!

**Special conditions & notes**:

- Strictly no party, gatherings or venue use. No Smoking. Pets are not permitted.

- Onsite storage for longer stay guests - Home furniture & chattel storage available on site by request.

**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:

- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).

- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.

- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.

- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.

- A Rental Agreement document is provided as part of the booking process. Please refer to the agreement for full terms and conditions. :-)

Villa Maitai

The villa worked well as we were in Nelson for a family wedding and it was in a great area for walking to town and being near other family. Plus it had cool artworks.

Fantastic home in the heart of Nelson

Our family of 5 stayed here during the school holidays and we had such a great time. Location was brilliant, with just a 20 min walk to the centre of town. Very quiet location with super comfy beds, well equipped and great wifi for those rare moments when the kids played tech :) Wish we stayed longer .. 9 days just wasn't enough

Christmas in New Zealand

This was our family’s first trip to NZ and we enjoyed every single moment spending it in Nelson. This home was in a perfect location. close distance to downtown, groceries and Center of New Zealand Hike. It was so comfortable for our group to stay. If I was to make a suggestion it would be to spruce up the yard space and deck for outdoor activities. We will definitely recommend it and hope to be back someday soon.

All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!
