Dear Niki, Thank you for you review. Myself and the staff that manages the house work very hard to make the home comfortable for our guests. Its very sad, frustrating and unfair to see your review that was not at all truthful. You let me know that one air condition in the kitchen was not working on Sunday morning (you check in on Saturday). It was very difficult for me to find someone to go to the house on that day. As you saw, the house is not in an urban area. Sunday is a challenging day to find anyone, never mind a technician capable of addressing the problem. On Monday first thing in the morning, after the technician toiled with the broken machine, we realized the fastest way to fix the broken air conditioner was just to replace It and we did right away. I'm really sorry if that was an inconvenience. If you recall, I agreed to compensate with the dinner service on Sunday (worth $150) for your guests for the trouble of the broken air conditioner in the kitchen that night. You had said in the review I only agreed to compensate $10 per person ? You will also recall there are TWO other air conditioners in the kitchen area that could have been turned on in place of the broken air conditioner. These two air conditioners would have kept the entire room cool in a very short period of time. Anyway after the air was fixed I was in touch with you to make sure that everything else was in good order, and you said that everything was perfect. But suddenly after you left, I received a message that you wanted $1000 dollars back for not having one air conditioning working in a small part of the kitchen area for one day, It makes no sense. We have have 7 high powered mini splits in the house and two are in the same general area of the kitchen. We have an open space, and once the air is turned on, the area cools quickly. About the roof, I had told you the roof top was "under construction" with renovations. You had known all of this too. Yet, you still comment on the area being unkept, when it was supposed to be off limits. I do appreciate feedback that can help me and the Team improve, but I do not appreciate words that were not AT ALL true. About the hot water, that's another lie. I have sent all the evidence that I have to vrbo, to be able to prove everything. Best Regards.
