Awesome mountain getaway!

Wonderful, roomy, relaxing, and fun for all ages! Creek and porches were a big hit. We were a group of 8 including 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We hope to stay again!

This is our 2 nd time staying here

Plenty of room for our annual family vacation in Sapphire Valley . Loved the kitchen upgrades with the double oven as we like to take turns cooking. So comfy reclining sofas in the updated living room with a large table for board games. We had so much fun here! Hope to be back again!

Look no further..

This property is setup perfectly for families. Tons of beds, big couches in the living room, spacious kitchen with large dining room table and so much deck space! Best back yard we have seen in Cashiers… fire pit with a gorgeous creek that runs the property line. Hosts are amazing and very responsive! We will definitely be back.

Mountain getaway in February 2011

Owner was extremely accomodating to our group and available to answer any questions we had...the house was very lovely, spacious and cozy...the kids had a great time in the creek behind the house and enjoyed the local skiing. We will definitely be back again...Thank Tony for an awesome getaway to the mountains.

Superb property and amenities

We could not be happier with this property. From the relaxing rocking chairs on the front porch to the stream in the back yard where the children played all week, I cannot list all of the wonderful attributes about this property and its location in the mountains. The house was clean and equipped with anything and everything to make our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were extremely helpful with check in, check out and things to do locally information. I will be renting this house again if available in the future.

Nice, secluded home.

The home is located on a secluded lot with a wonderful stream running through the back yard. The front and rear patios are perfect for sitting and talking or reading a good book. The interior is nicely decorated and the kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans, tableware, and silverware needed. I've shared some improvement opportunities privately with the owner which lead me to the rating given. The key item being slow Internet service, which the owner assures me will be resolved in the next ~6 months (fiber optics being run through the neighborhood).

Great Cabin!!

This cabin was beautiful and EXTREMELY WELL STOCKED!! We stayed for Thanksgiving week. Kitchen was very well stocked and owners even left me a roasting pan for turkey. Cabin is spacious, well decorated and clean. Plenty of towels, sheets/covers. Back patio area is beautiful with gas grill and fire pit. There is a beautiful creek right in the backyard perfect for kids to adventure out in. Nearby there are plenty of gorgeous waterfalls and hiking. We did whitewater falls and Gorges state park with a toddler and 2 kids with no problems. Micas restaurant nearby was delicious, as well as The Fix for breakfast. Overall it was a wonderful stay and owners were very responsive via email. Thank you for sharing this great cabin.

My family and I were so amazed as we walked into your beautiful and welcoming home. Walking into each room was a surprise, and each one left us speechless. Every room is decorated with great taste. This home was impeccably clean and perfectly suited for our taste. We just cannot stop talking about our memorable and peaceful time spent at your home with our family. Each review I had read was NOT exagerrated at all. Every word was true and well described. We also appreciate the proffesionalism and courtesy from the owners from the moment we reserved the cabin until our today. Comfortable & Peaceful....

We had an early Thanksgiving feast in the mountains & the home was laid out perfectly. Ample beds & space for all 10 of us, we did not feel cramped. We came prepared with our own cooking dishes & some other supplies in the kitchen, but to my surprise it was stocked appropriately. It was absolutely lovely to walk on the back porch and listen to the water from the river. We had s’mores at the fire pit & our grown kids loved it. One note, don’t expect to be able to watch a movie or football game at night clearly due to the outdated televisions. We found a great place to watch the football game at Sapphire Mountain Brewery, which is very close. Hicking trails are abundant & close. We enjoyed shopping in Highlands, which is 20 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

Property nice/ but cleaning not so good.

The property is beautiful. We did have some issues with the fridge not working. We got there on Friday and someone came to fix it Saturday at noon, after he did that we had to wait the afternoon for the fridge to get cold enough to use. So we only had a fridge for one day. Then we went to use the oven and found a dutch oven pan full of grease from the last time the cabin was used. Then we washed a load of towels, but when we opened the dryer it was still full from the last time it was used. The dishwasher was full from the last time as well. I have pictures over everything mentioned and sent them to the owner. I don’t feel like i should have been charged a cleaning fee or even a night or two. Because we spent our time Saturday getting in touch with the owner for all of these issues and cleaning out the grease pan, cleaning out the dishwasher and getting the towels out of the dryer ourselves after someone else used it before us. Correct me if im wrong. But you do have cleaning service . Right?

Fall colors tour 🏍

The property is just as described, perfect location for us. Nice and quiet. The fire pit and the fireplace were nice to have on the chilly nights. The kitchen had everything you needed if you were cooking. Thank you for sharing your home. This will be on the list of return to properties. Very nice get away.

Perfect place to relax

The house is very comfortable and a great layout. We came to snow tube and it was excellent. Loved the firepit area with the brook. The best part was that it snowed several days but the roads to the house were scrapped early this morning. We had no problems getting out of the neighborhood. Look forward to using this house again.

Cozy, comfortable and with all the amenities

This place was such a welcome escape from the stress of the year. The home is clean and comfortable and located in a such a peaceful setting. We traveled with our quarantine family and had five kids between us. We were pleased to find the property was so great for the kids. Lots of exploring to be done in the yard and the creek. The home included plenty of rain boots for the kids to use stomping around in the stream and some scooters for motoring around the driveway. One morning we were lucky to get some snow and surprised to find some sleds available for our use. Plenty of space for us all to spread out and all of the supplies we would need to cook family meals. We enjoyed the fireplace for warming up on the colder nights and we ventured out a few times to enjoy the community pool and putt putt golfing. The location is great and we are already talking about visiting again and seeing more of this beautiful part of the state.

Relaxing stay

Very beautiful home with lots of beds for the grandkids. They played in the stream all day long and were very happy. Very well stocked with essential items. We will be back.

Wonderful Hideaway
