Host was very inviting and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The view to the city was pretty good too! Thony also provided fresh bread and fruit which was very much appreciated.

We loved it here. The view was unexpectedly fabulous. We arrived at night and could see to the city and then in the morning we could see the beach also. Would definitely come back here again.

Great location and relaxing abode

Fantastic home true to its period. Lovely mosaics. Our host was accomodatibg and little touch of fresh fruit and pantry items wee really appreciated. Will happily book again.

Close to heaven

Wollongong is a beautiful, relaxed coastal town. The house is clean, spacious, bright and sunny. Its in a quiet street, close to the beach and the CBD. National park is right there. Hosts are friendly, generous and helpful.

Home away from home

Thony, was very welcoming, with excellent communication and a handwritten greeting on the blackboard. The property was well presented and included fantastic views of Wollongong in a nice quite location.

Excellant location for our stay in Wollongong. Fruit bowl and well stocked larder much appreciated. Thony our host on hand to answer any queries we had. Will use property again when visiting Wollongong.

Wollongong Stopover

Older style property, classic late 60's early 70's, which we loved. Its not perfect, but that doesnt matter to us. More importantly the effort that Thony has put in to make the stay comfortable was incredible. Stocked pantry, fresh fruit....spot on. Loved our stay there.

Wollongong holiday

Spacious, comfortable accommodation in a very pleasant and quiet location within 10 minute drive to central Wollongong. Provision of breakfast cereals, coffee and even non-dairy milk alternatives was a very nice touch. The only thing that was tricky was managing six people with just one bathroom.

Such a beautiful and relaxing escape!

We had the most wonderful stay at Drift and couldn’t have asked for a lovelier more welcoming host than Thony. Everything was so well supplied that we couldn’t have wished for more. The property is charmingly decorated, super comfortable and just felt so relaxing. It has a lovely open feel to it and Linda's mozaiek artwork throughout made it even better, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you so much!!

Amazing property

This is such a delightful property with a wonderful host. Thony has given a lot of thought and care into the amazing extras he leaves for his guests. The views over Wollongong to the coast are wonderful both daytime and after dark. We caught the train to Sydney. So easy and so much better than staying in the city. Thank you again Thony. We had a fantastic time.

Charm and comfort combined

What a treat to stay at Drift. This well-preserved 1960s house (with all the modern touches you need) is a real charmer. It's spacious and comfortable and its elevated position means you can take in the Wollongong skyline and surrounding treescapes from the back porch. Plus there's a nice front veranda with table and chairs and shady nooks in the front garden. Quiet places for everyone. We felt very welcome and relaxed the moment we walked in the door, and really appreciated the host going the extra distance with lovely fresh fruit bowl, breakfast supplies, coffee machine, all sorts of milks and condiments in the fridge. Very thoughtful. We would very, very happily stay at Drift again.
