Immerse yourself in luxury and style at one of Australia’s most unique and sought-after holiday destinations on the beautiful New South Wales south coast. Just 70 minutes south of Sydney and 25 minutes north of Wollongong.
Wombarra is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle.
Only five-minute walk to Wombarra reef pool and beach, the cottage is short walk to Wombarra Bowling club and a seven-minute drive to the specialty shops, restaurants, and supermarkets of Thirroul village

The space
Recently renovated this gorgeous two bedroom coastal cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful ocean views, plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding bushland and majesty of the towering escarpment. The two bedroom are well appointed with beautiful bedding, styling and assorted pillows. One queen and one extra long double. Luxe bathroom and gorgeous functional kitchen await you on your visit as well as tastefully appointed furnishings. You won't want to leave.

We truly enjoyed this stay. The property was conveniently located near Wollongong where my daughter competed in the World Triathlon Championships. The accommodations were clean, easy to find and had views of the ocean. Staying here was more like home than staying in a hotel.

The cottage was an absolute dream; beautifully presented, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches like including beach towels in addition to all the top‑notch amenities. Lisa was an exceptional host: friendly, easy‑going, and forthcoming with local tips. Her communication was excellent: responsive, helpful, and always respectful of our privacy, especially given that the cottage sits on a subdivided block, separated from the main house by a fence. A wonderful stay all around.

Lovely 3 night stay

Our friends and us had a really relaxing 3 night stay. The space was so clean and light and the loungeroom and kitchen had a lovely view of the ocean. Check in was a breeze and we had everything we needed for a great mini break.

A fabulous mid-winter getaway with the family is a gorgeous hidden part of NSW. The house was perfect and exactly as per the photos. Lovely in winter and would be stunning in summer. Thank you for having us!

Perfect location...close to the beach and cafes. Cottage was very clean. The owners, Lisa and Andrew were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

Beautiful cottage and great location

My friends and I loved our weekend stay at the cottage. The house is beautiful, has a great view of the water and is an easy walk away from the beach and bowling club. The region is lovely and has lots to do and see, we wished we were staying longer.

Quaint cottage with tranquil ocean sounds

Abundant of beaches close to the property and a short drive to shops and activities. Property is exactly at it looks in the photos which is rare. Host was very responsive and very accommodating. Lots of small thoughtful touches throughout with quality eco friendly products for guest use. Gave it 5 stars

Hi would just like to say the accommodation was great, the only issues we had was the outside spot lights didn’t work leading up and back where the entrance of the accommodation stairs are.
