I rented this house for a couple nights right before Christmas to spend time with my parents, my sisters, and their families, where were all coming from different places and going to different places for the holidays. In total, we had 4 couples, a single adult, and 7 kids between ages 2 and 10. The house was so spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Both a crib and a pack-n-play were available, as well as 5 bedrooms with a king bed, a bedroom with a single bed with trundle, and a bedroom with two singles with trundles, which was on the third floor. This room, which had it's own TV and full bathroom, was a great place for the kids to hang out.
The dining room had a large table that easily sat 8, but enough chairs to squeeze in 12. Kitchen was nice, and we used it to cook meals while we were there. Strangely, we could find only one wash cloth and no dishtowels, but we made do with items we had brought and bathroom towels. Maybe the cleaning team just forgot to restock those?
The day we were scheduled to check in was a winter storm, so we ended up coming into town a day early and staying at a hotel to avoid driving in the bad weather. I reached out to the manager to ask if we could check in early so we didn't have to find a place to kill 5 hours in the storm between leaving the hotel and check in and they accommodated us. Really appreciated that. Also appreciated having off-street covered parking for three vehicles.
The time we were there had windchills down to negative 20 degrees or so, and the house is quite old, so the bedrooms were drafty and probably got down into the 50s at night. But the living areas stayed plenty warm, and the bedding was very warm and cozy. We all slept comfortably. (My dad said it was the most comfortable bed he'd ever slept in!)
The only things that might have improved the stay would be more living room seating (with a higher quality couch), and more kitchen cloths and towels.
Given the weather, we just stayed in the house during our stay and didn't explore the neighborhood, but it seemed like it would be a great place for walking and trying new restaurants.
We would definitely choose to stay here again.
