Welcome to this stunning, historic home in the beautiful Shaw neighborhood. Built in 1906, this home boasts three large stories with 7 nicely-sized bedrooms offering 10 total beds! Tired of wondering who has to sleep on the sofa bed? No one does in our home! There is no shortage of character here with original woodwork and eclectic style, but rest assured, you'll sleep great on memory foam mattresses and soft linens. The kitchen and butler's pantry are perfect for large groups to prepare and serve meals. You'll find everything you need to cook or bake in the spacious kitchen. The flow of the dining and living room are perfect for friends and family to enjoy each other's company. With 4000 square feet of living space, it's easy to find some peace and quiet if you're looking for a place to curl up and relax. Or, watch a movie or stream your favorite shows on the two Roku tvs.

You'll be just a few minutes drive from St. Louis's hottest attractions, like the Zoo and Forest Park, Busch Stadium, the Gateway Arch, the CityPark soccer stadium, Top Golf, the Science Center, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and far more! Property is about 20-25 minutes from the airport, which is super convenient when arriving later in the day. When you walk in the house you are greeted with a clean and airy foyer. The house is truly awesome. Stained glass windows and large baseboards. The bedroom arrangement was super convenient with the large group I had. The home owners were very easy to deal with and attentive to our needs. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO houses all over the country and this one is top notch

It was a great area. Close to SLU for graduation and convenient for restaurant and other activities. We went for walks every night so the neighborhood was great.

We stayed here and at a property nearby for a family reunion. The house was as described. The owner was responsive. Our family (ages: infant to 70 years old) felt comfortable staying here and walking through the neighborhood to the other property. Only drawback was that the 3 rooms on the 3rd floor shared 1 bathroom. The house was as described and we’d be happy to stay here again in the future!

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO places over the past 14 years with our groups. This was undoubtedly the most accommodating and welcoming property we have ever stayed at. It was fully equipped, had more-than-adequate towels, dishes, utensils and space. It made the trip so much more enjoyable for our group. I would stay here again in a minute! It is a great location, a magnificent house, and a very accommodating host.

Perfectly appointed, great location, easy parking!

This house was everything we asked for and more. Excellent space for three families with a range of ages from toddler to grandma. Everyone had the space and privacy they needed with wonderful common spaces for meals and relaxing.

Great stay with great host

My family and I stayed at this property for my brother’s college graduation. We have previously stayed at this property, and it was just as great this time as the previous stay. This time I brought along my 1 year old daughter and was very happy they had a high chair, several gates, and a pack and play available for use. The host Ann was very responsive before our trip and was able to quickly respond to any questions I had. We love the charm of this house and appreciated playing games in the dining room and back yard. Definitely recommend this property! The area felt pretty safe, we went on several walk around the area without any issues.

Great house for a big group!

We had a lovely stay at the property after the holidays. It was a big house with lots of space for 8 adults and 7 kids to spread out and run around. Clean, quiet and host was very kind. Will definitely stay again!

Spacious and Conveniently Located

Hello! We're Ted and Ann. We live in St. Louis, where we operate two Short-Term Rentals in the city and also have a 5-Star rated cleaning company. When we aren't at one of the finest vacation homes in the city, we are hanging out with our twin middle schoolers. We love to enjoy the four seasons here and take a lot of walks, sometimes visiting the fantastic museums, zoo, and riverfront.

Shaw is one of the most beautiful historic districts and we are lucky and humbled to own a home there! It's a lovely neighborhood for walking, plus the botanical gardens and Tower Grove Park are adjacent. It's so convenient to everything with plenty of nice restaurants mixed in!

Our home in Shaw has been lovingly maintained since 1906. We were enamored from the first visit by the original details, especially the foyer that peaks all the way up to the 3rd floor. Plus, it sure is nice having a long driveway! Another unique feature of our property is, well, us! Local owners who will do everything we can to make your stay perfect!
