The property is in a great location for walking to shopping, market, restaurants, etc.The kitchen needs a few more utensils...namely a can opener. We couldn't get the ice maker to work, but it may have been operator error. It's located VERY close to railroad tracks...so if noise is an issue, or you get scared easily, you might think twice about staying here....but it wasn't a problem for us. We wanted to use the outside amenities....& they were Very Dirty...understandable that its close to the tracks....but the extra effort to clean was Not put forth, however, they did return to clean anything we asked. Attention to detail in cleaning is an issue, as others have stated. Floors seem to have only ever been swept, fixtures are dusty & missing light bulbs. I think the host could do a better job of checking out this property. Also, we Never got Hot water in master shower...only in sinks.However, the beds were very comfortable, & there was plenty of room for all of us to be together, or apart. We went ballooning, tubing,& winerys & they were all convenient from this property.

The condo is nice. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well set up and appliances are first class. The location is perfect, close to batts, restaurants, shops and Grounds. But the trains are a problem. The entire condo shakes when they pass in the middle of the night. It makes sleep very difficult.

Wonderful location

We loved this spacious condo, especially the two outdoor decks. Plenty of gathering space, indoor and out. Bright, airy, and just a block from the downtown mall. A great value for our group of six.

The heat was broken. The host had set up 3 small space heaters as a solution. The temperature in the space was 56. These space heaters had blown a fuse so the living space had no power. We called and were told there were no solutions.

Great place located right where we needed.

Very cute place, the trains do cause some rumbling in the night, but it’s only once or 2X a night. Very good walking distance to lots of downtown attractions. Recommend it.

Great Location

This property is a great location to the mall. It is walking distance to eat and drink. The weather was rainy all weekend, but if you were able to enjoy the porches the rooftop is amazing. The owner has a great grilling set up and the views from up top are great for people watching!

Great condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a convenient location to downtown, UVA, and Monticello. We really liked the covered porch off the main floor. Great floor plan (lots of stairs) and high end appliances in the kitchen and on the rooftop deck.

One word TRAIN!!! The house is right on the train tracks and the train goes by all hours of the day and night. The house is in great location to get to the downtown mall and the actual house has a great modern vibe. The house unfortunately was not clean! Dust in the bedrooms and common areas, one of the bathrooms had ants, the air filters were DIRTY, the fridge was gross, and one of the sinks would not drain properly.

Lots of space and good location

Walk to downtown mall. Free trolley to UVA is across the street. Lots of space in the condo and outdoor spaces if the weather is nice.

Great weekend in downtown!

The place was beautiful and our location was fabulous! The train rolling through at 2:30am was a little disruptive, but worth it for the walkable distance to dinner and drinks. I was not able to use the included parking pass, since the card was broken. But the management company was quick to reply. Overall a great stay!

Pros: Great location. Well appointed.Cons: entire house shakes from train Door broken to upper patio & bungee tied, burn holes in living room chair, master had decorative pillows with holes, master quilt pilled & ratty so just covered with a white sheetMaster bath had dried contact lenses stuck to floor.

Nice Condo with a Great Location

The location for this condo is perfect if you want to be on the pedestrian mall in Charlottesville. It's also an easy drive to UVA grounds. The loft itself is very nice - modern, good appliances, well stocked, and was clean. The only warning I'd give is the same as others here. When the train comes through (including at 2am) it is LOUD and shakes the entire building. If you are a light sleeper beware!

Great space and location!

We stayed here with a group of friends and truly enjoyed the back patios and spaciousness of the home! Although there is no parking on site, there were very clear directions to park in the designated spot at a nearby garage. Best location in terms of walking distance to The Downtown Mall and West Main Street. We would love to stay again for future reunions! Our only recommendation would be for better cleanliness in terms of bathrooms, floors and surfaces.

Perfect Charlottesville Vacation Spot

A+ experience! We loved the two (yes two!) open air rooftop areas with comfortable seating and great views. The condo had everything you could ask for in terms of amenities but nothing could beat the proximity to the Historic District which was directly across the street. My only regret is that we didn’t stay one more night just so we could hang out and enjoy the condo. I would not recommend for anyone who has difficulty with stairs, but other than that it is a perfect spot for young and old alike. Can’t wait to return!

Girls trip

We enjoyed our stay, very cool condo. However it could some cleaning. Lots of cobwebs and dust in the corners and walls. The train wasn’t too bad, Saturday night it came at midnight and shook the building and Sunday at 545am! Other than that, decent location and comfy, especially the beds!!!

Fun spot- embrace the train

Great location for a weekend getaway in Charlottesville. Beautiful and comfortable house. We knew in advance the train rolls by a couple times a day so was not surprised. It was fine for us but definitely rattles the house. A few things would put it over the top. More than 4 hangers for the whole house. Hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Couple sharp knives. Overall a very try nice stay and recommend it.
