This spacious, comfortable, home is located in the highly desired South Eugene Neighborhood. An updated ductless heating and cooling has been installed throughout the house. It has individualized temperature controls to keep all the guests comfortable throughout the seasons. The house boasts an open concept living space with vaulted ceilings. It’s an ideal space for gatherings. There is a king bedroom downstairs and four queen bedrooms upstairs. Two full baths are located downstairs and one upstairs. Its beautiful trees and yard provides peaceful privacy. There are three old growth cedar trees that shelters the house have recently been deemed by neighbors as the nicest trees in Eugene. Fine dining and shopping are within walking distance. It's also close to walking and hiking trails. Lane Community College and the University of Oregon are only a short drive away. There is a bus stop nearby. The private backyard is ready for BBQs and outdoor living. The home is stocked and ready for everything you should need to enjoy your stay.

We had a great trip! The hosts communicated very well. Everything was easy. We really appreciated all the fans setup throughout the house. We were a full house, but once you were in your bedroom, we couldn't hear our friends that were up later. Overall, we all highly recommend and would be grateful to stay in again in the future!

This property needs a bit of maintenance. Sink drains were clogged. Back patio could use a good pressure washing. I expected a bit more for the price. It’s at a slightly busy intersection and part of the property is occupied by a family member. The latter only disclosed at check-in.

Two of the bathroom sinks have slow drains. None of the staff have reported a clog. If there were, the guests should have let us know and it would have been promptly cleared. This group was one of the first guests following the rainy season; the exterior has since been pressure washed. There is a completely separate apartment dwelling on the north end of the house with a separate entrance and parking. There are no shared spaces and no interactions with guests. Guests have access to the entire main house and exterior spaces. My son and his wife currently occupy the apartment as property agents. We have never had complaints. In fact, we have had compliments from former guests regarding prompt service and support if requested. The home is located on a corner lot with a four way stop. It can get busy during peak times. Again, no other known complaints from former guests regarding its location. This is a well stocked, comfortable, large home with five bedrooms, three baths, and ample living space. The price is comparable or lower than similar properties in the highly sought after South Hills Area. This was an odd stay given that the guests messaged us in the middle of the night at 12:43 am that they were leaving. They didn’t follow any of the checkout instructions. In fact they left an abundance of pet hair and garbage that required extensive and repeated cleaning. Although I appreciate feedback, it’s disappointing that this guest is so negatively focused. We’ve had such positive feedback from other guests and if needed, have been extended the courtesy of guests sending private feedback on suggestions.

The house is plenty functional for the number of beds. The dishware was a little short in one or two categories. Checkout process was a little more involved than some we have stayed in, but not unreasonably. Neighborhood is close enough to downtown, etc. but in a quiet neighborhood.House was clean when we arrived and there was a welcome plate of pastries on the counter. One sink didn't completely function, but when I asked about it the host replied quickly explaining that the plumber had been scheduled to repair a leak. The host was very prompt to reply to any questions, and was proactive in communicating check in info, just in case the app may have glitched. Overall it was a good experience, would recommend this house.

Arlene’s home in Eugene was great. We had 5 moms and 5 teens in town for a volleyball tournament and Arlene was very accommodating. The house was well stocked and the beds very comfortable. We had a slight issue with the fridge buzzing but Arlene was quick to respond and send her son over to fix the issue on our schedule. Definitely recommend staying here.

I brought my family to Eugene for my daughters Graduation from U of O. The house was perfect, sleeping 10 couples with three nice bathrooms all with showers. Enjoyed our stay, loved the location!

In town for Nike Outdoor Nationals

Arlene was a fantastic host for our trip to Eugene for Nike Outdoor Nationals. The location was great - 5 minutes from the track and 2 minutes from restaurants and grocery by car. The house was comfortable and there was plenty of room for people to spread around. Thanks for adding to a great experience!

Nice setup in common areas, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable spacious bedrooms, each with queen beds. Great to have 3 bathrooms with showers for our group of 7. Could use some sort of house instructions online or even in a welcome booklet as it took some figuring out on how to work front door lock, get sufficient heat in the main floor common space, and similar basics. The host was very available for our questions though, so we were able to work through that quickly.

Overall Donald St satisfactorily met our family of 6 needs...Especially when it came to making Thanksgiving dinner for 13!! The backyard made it nice to be able to include pets for the holiday. Our only real concern was the plumbing/drains were a bit slow. Otherwise it was a great spot and amazingly quiet for being around the corner from the fire department. Thanks for your housepitality. Great home-base for UO Graduation weekend

Our extended family descended upon Eugene to celebrate our youngest daughter’s graduation from UO. This is a well-situated rental with proximity to UO and downtown. it was very quiet and gave us plenty of room to stretch out (8 of us). I’d say the only negative (which wasn’t really that big of an issue) is that the upstairs bedrooms are blocked n order to accommodate window air conditioners so if you do want just fresh air with an open window, that’s not possible and the AC units are very loud. Again, not that much of an issue but might be for some. Kitchen is very well-equipped and there is a small yard with a table eat outside.We enjoyed our last stay in Eugene and if we do return in the future, we will consider this rental again.

Good overall

We booked this for a family get together for memorial. Our family included three kids ranging from 8 to 13 years old. The house is on a corner of a busy street so kids and pets are best in the Backyard which is small. It was a rainy weekend so use of the backyard was minimal. The location is good for getting anywhere in Eugene, which was nice. This is only the second time I’ve booked a VRBO and I probably needed to look at the details more. Would have liked covered parking or garage, especially because of the rain. Overall, it was a good stay.

Oregon reunion

Property is very nice on the inside. Nice furnishings, this has great appeal. Unfortunately there is no HVAC system. The owner is using two small 6 inch window cooling units that do not cool a two story home. The temps for highs during our stay were over 98 degrees. The home wouldn't get comfortable until about 2AM. The upstairs rooms at 10:00 pm would still be 90 degrees or above until 2AM then the house would be around 80 degrees. The lows would be in the mid 60s. Need centeral air unit to maintain cooling throughout the day and night. Property owner is responsive but, not on this. I would not stay here again unless there was nothing else available.

We were not informed by this guest during the stay that the house was too warm. If so, we would have remedied the situation. Please communicate with the property manager or owner during your stay so that problems can be solved, rather than giving such a low rating without allowing us the opportunity to correct the situation. We could have installed more AC units and given helpful home cooling tips to make the stay more comfortable if we only had been aware of the issue. It’s common courtesy to allow us to help before reporting such a devastating low review.

The house was spotless, nicely decorated, and very well stocked. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. We were there during warm weather and the HVAC system worked very well and we were comfortable. The house is situated on a busy intersection but once in the house, the road noise is negligible—we didn’t notice at all. The check out list was a little more than most VRBO’s but OK. The dishwasher was still running when we checked out so we were unable to put that load of clean dishes away, but the host seemed understanding.

We loved this home! It was decorated so cute and welcoming! It was well stocked in the kitchen. The bath sheets were a nice touch instead of just bath towels. The electric fireplace was cozy in the rainy weather. So convenient to all the amenities and wine tasting. Thank you for sharing.
