This will be without a doubt one of your highlights of your Vancouver Island journey and an exceptional experience as an intimate family gathering or corporate retreat you will be eager to share with your family and friends. The property also offers a guesthouse with 2 additional suites accomidating potentially 6 additional guests.

Steeped in nature, this expansive South-West facing estate neighbours a rain forest that is home to trees dating back over seven hundred years.

A modern palace by the sea
This large well-appointed home gave our extended family of 10 adults and 5 young children plenty of space to be together and to find some space apart. We loved walking down to the beach, picking blackberries, enjoying all our fine cooking, throwing frisbees on the large lawn, and paddle boarding up the little river. I wish they'd have provided a dish drainer (in addition to the 2 dishwashers!), but honestly, that might be my only complaint!

Family vacation
Our family vacation to Sooke featured a hike to Mystic Beach and a morning swim at the potholes. Sea Lion Estate tied it all together in a fabulous bow - it is an amazing property! The view, the privacy, the kitchen and harvest table, the bedrooms, the hot tub…I could go on. I’ll simply say we hope to come back someday.

Amazing Property and great stay
Couldn’t have been a better stay. The property is one of a kind and perfect for our group; one of us surfed while the rest watched and ate breakfast from the house. Great memories were made and we couldn’t recommend the experience enough.

Perfection
The beautiful house was clean with everything you would need. The view, the ocean, the sea lions and eagles that visited every day was icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed.
