This beautiful sanctuary offers privacy, security, comfort and entertainment. This three bedroom home sits on 10,000 sq. ft. and has an open floor plan which provides ample space to accommodate family and/or friends comfortably. Great place and even better owner

From start to finish this a great place. Fully equipped. The owner helped me out several times saving me when I locked myself out, fixing a flat, and tons of information and connections during and even after our stay. The house is very pretty on the inside and the water is off in the distance for pretty sunsets.

Birthday week

We have been wanting to go to Exuma for a while. We rented the house to spend a week to celebrate a 50th birthday. It was a great experience and we were very sad to leave the island. We loved Exuma and would stay again anytime. The hose an amenities were great. Great communication for arrival and check in too. Overall a very good experience.

Great Exuma Rental

First, Anya is a great host who was always available, if needed. The house is nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The car was a really nice addition. If you are expecting a luxury car then I guess rent one, but good luck with that on a small island. The Exumas are beautiful and the people are very nice. Thank you Anya for helping make our trip special!

Beautiful home and car included was indeed a plus!

This property was absolutely beautiful and we loved the privacy. It was clean and very well equipped. The car included made it easy for us to explore the entire island and meet so many lovely locals. We felt safe and Anya was very reaponsive and gave us alot of tips as to where we could find restaurants, grocery stores, top attractions and she organized a boat charter for us to swim with the pigs and feed the sharks at Compass Cay. We even stopped and had lunch at Staniel Cay. It was amazing! We loved everything and will highly recommend this property to all of our friends back home!

Perfect for 3 couples but can handle 4.

Spacious, modern, comfortable beds. A car is necessary here and one is provided. Not really walking distance to anything. Anya is a kind person and handled any problems as quickly as she could. Fabulous beaches 10 to 20 minutes away. George Town is 10 minutes away.

The Best!

Look no further, and rent this house! We absolutely loved our stay in Exuma! The house is quiet, clean and in perfect condition. We loved our central location, and having the use of a car was perfect for us to check out the entire island. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Anya; she is the best VRBO host I have ever worked with! She was available for questions at any time, and had some awesome recommendations for us during our visit. She is so kind, genuine and truly amazing! Thank you so much Anya; we will be back!

Great Stay..

Ms. Chilsom is awesome, I appreciate her very much for the accommodation that she gave us. The only thing is the car is not in perfect shape.I recommend getting a rental. But the car was extra/free so we did appreciate that. Other than that the house was very nice. It's also a little ways from the airport but close to the downtown George Town. Thank you Ms. Chilsom I appreciate you🙏🏽

Amazing

Anya what is an amazing host! She went above and beyond for us every single day! The house is absolutely beautiful and very clean! We will definitely stay with her again! The only thing I would suggest is a full length mirror for us girls that like to make sure everything is good before we leave the house 🤣🤣. I would also recommend some plastic cups for a little ones to drink out of. We have no complaints whatsoever! I could not say enough about Anya!

Wow! A+! 5 Stars! Loved it!

Wow! We loved this property! It’s been recently renovated so everything is in pristine condition. The kitchen has everything you need - we are cooks and used it every day. Kitchen appliances and the laundry equipment are brand new and top notch. Anya is BEYOND all expectation and helped us navigate the island at every turn, in every way. She was a very big part of making our overall experience perfect. She’s a special person and her service is above and beyond the call of duty. Next trip to Exuma, this is our spot! Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay

We just returned home from a wonderful vacation in Exuma. This property was perfect for 6 of us. The house is so nice and has so much space. It is very comfortable for a larger group as it has a lot of space so you are not crowded. It was such a bonus to have the car included. The house is not on the water, but is centrally located and easy to get to all the beaches in each direction. Anya was great from the beginning of my inquiry about this property. She was off the island purchasing another vehicle because the one they allow the visitors to use was damaged in the recent flooding that Exuma experienced, but checked in on us and responded right away with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends to stay here too!

Summer in Paradise

This property is exactly as described. Communication was phenomenal. Having the car included was a great perk, just remember that there are only 3 gas stations on the island! This house is very clean and comfortable. Cold AC in all 3 bedrooms. Yes, the road up is a bit rough but take it slow and you'll make it! We always follow the motto "leave it better than you found it" so we left half a tank of gas, some inflatable rafts and sunscreen for future guests to use! This location is great as well as it is not super far to Georgetown and is also close to little Exuma to hit those beaches as well!

Amazing and spacious home with great host!

Booked this house for my 30th birthday trip with 8 people in our party. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had so many great amenities! We had a car to use while there which was so helpful, since the island is spread out. Our host Anya was so helpful and had great recommendations for what we should do. We booked a private boat tour to pig island and Staniel Cay with them too, which was very fun, and the reason we wanted to come to Exuma. The house has three rooms, three bathrooms, and a huge kitchen, wrap around porch and living Room with two pull out couches. You do have to drive to most attractions, the roads are very patchy, and they drive on the opposite of the road from America, but everyone on the island was so helpful and welcoming! We are already wanting to come back!

Quiet-Private-relaxing

This home was a complete gem! Not too far from town and right around the corner from some of the world’s prettiest beaches! The house itself was beautiful! Very modern! Everything was updated. But the best part was the assistant Ollie which he meant my family and I as we got off the plane! He was very kind and honest! The house came with a car which is was a big plus because it definitely was a time saver and gave us a chance to explore the island as well! I also tried the boat ride which was offered with the house rental and that was amazing! We caught a bunch of fished and fried them in the beautiful updated kitchen! This is truly a gem! Definitely will recommend to family and would like to plan to revisit in the future! To be honest I didn’t have any negative feedback for this home! And feel like it might be undervalued!

Wonderful Property & Amazing Host!

This property is simply stunning and Anya(our host) was great to us and extremely attentive to any of our needs. I must tell you that the house looks way better in person. The property was exactly as presented on the website and was clean, beautiful, and spacious. We stayed for 7 nights and we enjoyed every day of it. We loved the privacy of this house and the area is so quiet. We woke up to the beautiful sunset from our balcony every morning. Anya checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She was indeed top notch. She made our stay extra special by running to the store to pick up a few things, as well as making our check-in and out process effortless. The free dinner was delicious and she even had Craig come over to the house to make us conch salad. Anya took us out one night to the Fish Fry so we got to hand with the locals which was super fun. The car was indeed a plus for us. It got us around very well and we got to explore the entire island. She arranged a private boat charter for us as well which was the highlight of our trip. We truly had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to the 'Glass House' next year. Highly recommended!

RENTER BEWARE/Stay at your own risk

Please note this is a TRUE review. The property appears exactly as shown but please note there is a bottom apartment and a top enclosed area that is blocked off. There is NO HARBOR view. The ride to the airport is 25 minutes along with the ride to most beaches. There were no directions left as to how to work things or where to locate items. The bathroom in the master bedroom was dirty and barely functionable, freezer dirty, ice maker doesn't work. There was limited to no starting supplies I.e., half of a roll of toilet tissue, barely any paper towels no tea or coffee, no light bulbs in the lamps, ceiling fan in dining room nonfunctioning, no blinds on the house so anyone can see you. On one particular night a strange car drove onto the property and just sat there. You are isolated, so it was pretty scary. The worst feature is the car that was given for use, was absolutely filthy, filled with sand and trash. The headlight wasn't working. We used the recommended driver because we weren't comfortable driving on the roads-EVERYTHING we spoke about was reported back to the host who had the audacity to question & comment on a private conversation between friends. Also, when we reported the above items to the host, she stated that we were difficult. We paid for all of the driver's food and drinks including alcohol, plus tipped him heavily but apparently it wasn't enough as there were innuendos that more was expected. The free meal was not fresh food as it included frozen salmon filets and frozen vegetables. TRUE REVIEW!!!

A truly amazing experience. Anaya was and is an amazing host. Every time we had a question or needed to contact her, she responded right away. The house is beautiful and a prime location for traveling to the north and south points of the island. We got in a bit of a jam and Anaya did everything to make the experience a good one. The people of Exuma are amazing and we got first hand awareness of just how much everyone is there to lend a hand. I absolutely recommend staying at Driftwood Haven and Anaya as a Host, she can help make your stay a great one.

Anya’s place was perfect! My boyfriend and I booked an impromptu trip to Exuma and needed to find a place quickly. We were delighted to find such a modern and clean space right near where we wanted to be. This is a great place, in a great location, and Anya was thoughtful with recommendations. The space was very well equipped and amazing as advertised. It was the perfect place for us to stay and such a great value! The car included was definitely a plus for us also. Thank you, Anya!

Perfection

This was our first trip to Exuma. Anya was an amazing host and always available for any questions that we had along the way. We stayed on the property for 7 nights. One thing that drew us to this property was that it came with a vehicle. You definitely need a vehicle if you are staying in Exuma. We also took advantage of having the groceries delivered to the house before our arrival. It was nice not having to worry about that. There is a beach a short walk from the house, but we did not visit it. We would take the car down to Little Exuma and turn down dirt roads. At the end of any of the dirt roads, you will find the prettiest beaches on Earth! Anya - thank you so much for helping to make our vacation perfect! We can't wait to come back.

An Oasis close to town

Our host was amazing and was available for questions or help at a moments notice. The home is lovely, clean and we'll setup for guests. Georgetown was less than 5 minutes away and beaches too. Anya was a pleasure to work with, offered to run to the store for us AND cooked us a delicious dinner one evening. She also arranged our tour to swim with the pigs and to feed the iguanas (Adrian our skipper was amazing). All in all we recommend this property and if you choose to stay, please be kind to BB the car!

Lovely home great for a family

When we walked into the home we were pleased to see the pictures do match what was posted for the home. It’s absolutely beautiful! We loved how bright and open everything is in the main living space. The home is also well located only a 5-7 min drive from Georgetown. Ayna was so helpful the whole time we were there responding asap. She did everything from setting up transportation to and from the airport to scheduling excursions. I would definitely stay here again (One side note if you do have small children make sure to beach toys for them!)
