This wonderful little casita is located only blocks from downtown Fredericksburg. Casita De La Paz is perfect for a couple just getting away for a cozy, intimate occasion. Inside, the king bed is placed to enjoy the cable television. There is also a coffeebar with small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The bath has a whirlpool tub with a handheld shower. Right outside the bedroom is a private patio perfect for those quiet moments.

LOCATION - Five blocks north of Main St. in the Historic District
HOST - You have this private guest house to yourselves
SLEEPS - 2 persons in a king bedroom
BATH - Bathroom has a jetted tub & handheld shower
KITCHEN - Kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, toaster regular & Keurig coffee maker

Nice Accomodations

The property was exactly as described, clean and cozy. A little too far to walk to Main St. but a very short drive. You have to pick the key up at the Gastehaus Schmidt office on Main which is a little inconvenient. Overall great 2 night stay!

So clean and adorable! It definitely summarized the Fredericksburg feel. The large bath with jets was lovely and the private patio was perfect!

Great Stay

Had a great stay at the Casita. Very close to Main St and plenty of space for two people. Check in / check out was hassle-free and pricing was fair compared to other locations in town. Definitely would stay here again!

Cute place close to town!

The casita was nicely decorated, well stocked with amenities (toiletries, towels, coffee, bottled water), and comfortable. There were two outdoor seating areas, one of which was very private and had beautiful market lights. The casita had a big jetted tub with a handheld shower faucet. The only drawback was that there was no way to stand up and take a shower.

Worth the Visit

Accommodations were easy and flexible. We added a day quickly and easily, checked in and checked out without a hitch. The cottage was nice and homely. The bed was comfortable. The patio was closed off and a wonderful place to look at the stars every night. It's in a great location near downtown. Our only “complaint” was that there was no shower curtain or easy way to simply shower. But the bath was great, the jets were fantastic. Everything else was top-notch

The Coziest Casita

This cute little place was the icing on the cake of our Fredericksburg trip! We arrived later than planned and our keys were conveniently left for us which was so kind. It was the perfect home away from home for the weekend and so nice to come back to after a full day of running around. Perfect size for just the two of us. We ended our nights on the back patio which was so cute. Will definitely be back!

Good location

Good location but mattress is extremely hard and there is no shower. The tub has a wand but it is not specifically mentioned that no shower is present. It’s a cute place but smaller than expected.

Fantastic Place for a Weekend Getaway

Great place to stay in Fredericksburg! Plenty of space, super clean, 5 minute walk to Main Street. I had an issue where a i thought I lost my key, the property manager was very responsive and left a replacement key under the mat while I was out. Overall, a wonderful experience. Will be back!

Wonderful weekend visit

My fiancee and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend and it was a very relaxing trip. The photos do not do this place justice, casita de la paz is a beautiful home and a lot bigger than it looks online. We will definitely be back again for Christmas.

Lovely getaway at La Casita de Paz!

My husband and I stayed for 5 lovely days at La Casita de Paz! We greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The casita has been very well cared for, well stocked for our visit, and the bed was so comfy. The property management company was great at check in and check out. We’d definitely stay at a property managed by them again!

Cozy and stylish

Our stay at Casita de la Paz was cozy, enjoyable, and relaxing. The interior decoration felt hip and fresh. The space was just the right size for two. From the house, we walked to main street each day and night and felt completely safe even during the late hours. We had everything that we needed for our short stay... tv, wifi, great ac, a soft and comfortable bed, and even a small patio area. The bathroom was nice with a huge tub that was soothing after hiking enchanted rock just 25 minutes away by car. It was a wonderful little house and we can't wait for our next trip there.
