We did not actually stay at this property. This was intended to be our honeymoon after getting married but since my mother-in-law passed away 3 days prior to our wedding, we did not go on this trip. My frustration lies in the communication regarding our situation. I reached out via chat stating my MIL had a stroke and we weren't even sure if there would be a wedding nearly a week before we were schedule to arrive. I asked if there was a way to change our booking date due to this tragedy and knowing the refund period had expired. The only response I received was: "I am sorry it is to late to reschedule." I would have understood if this was the case but I found the heartless response as offensive. But don't worry, they got their money so that's all that mattered.
