Tussock Retreat is a modern home 3 Bedroom home with fantastic open plan design and unbeatable indoor outdoor living. This is a perfect holiday home with modern amenities in a spacious environment with significant deck to enjoy the views. All within a 4 minute walk to the Twizel town centre.
Don't miss the view of Mt Cook from the front of the property!

It was nice to have the whole house and a stocked kitchen, less than an hour away from the park. A TV with streaming services allowed us to unwind after hiking.

Perfect Place in Twizel

Great Place, everything was neat and tidy as advertised. We stayed with 4 Adults but there is easily enough room for 6 people. Highly recommend the Tussock Retreat ! We shall be back.

Central and warm

Chose this property as had stayed before so knew the home and wanted a house with a fire. Easy booking experience and home lovely and warm. Excellent water pressure for shower etc. Feel cleaning fee excessive.

South island road trip

This house is so great. Lots of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers both inside and out, great use of the garden so you can follow the sun or stay in the shade with a variety of chairs and tables (we tried them all!) Really comfy beds and super quiet neighborhood meant we all slept well after walking in Aoraki. Really close to the shops and supermarket so we walked everywhere! Amy the owner was great with clear communication and checking in after we arrived to make sure everything was OK. Loved it and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and convenient

The Bach was very warm and roomy with all the mod cons to make for a comfortable stay. It was extremely warm and kept heat from the day overnight. After a few days out in the cold fishing the river Ohau it was welcome comfort to warm up, refresh and relax. The large sofas and open plan made it easy to sit with friends and chill out. There is a big deck with distant views of the mountains and BBQ area too. Thank you

Fishing retreat!

Stayed at Tussock Retreat while four of us fished our hearts out in the Twizel canals. House was excellent and great to come home to in the dark after a day on the water. Great support from Hosts and will definitely return. Thanks

Am amazing property to Holiday at with such a spacious back garden and outdoor area. We really enjoyed the house. The only criticism was the top sheets have stains that although still clean just took away from the rest of the 5?star rating. Thank you for an amazing week

Great location and home

Close to town centre and the home has everything a family needs. Fantastic outdoor area, just a shame it was raining so we couldn't use it. Would definitely stay again. Many thanks to Amy your help was fantastic :-)
