The perfect base to explore Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo Braemar Beauty offers everything you could want from a Holiday Home. Located on a quiet street so that you can sit outside on the deck and enjoy the stunning Mackenzie, modern amenities and plenty of off street parking. This is a newer 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a second lounge. It is just a few minutes walk to shops, cafe`s and supermarkets in the centre of Twizel.

Bedding, bed linen and towels are provided for your stay with us. After you leave, we do a full clean of the house.

Immaculately presented, good layout and easy walk to town. However, the BBQ was filthy and had no gas which was disappointing as we planned to use it. Would have given 5* rating otherwise.

Relaxing in Style

Beautiful house, modern and well maintained. All the amenities you need for families and utensils to cook hearty family meals. Warm and welcoming - magical with the snow outside and appreciated by all. “I like this house mama” -Miss 3, “This is a nice house” Master 7. Awesome place!

This house is very large, clean and well outfitted. It offered everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood. Two living rooms! Highly recommend.

Ideal for a short term stay

Braemer Beauty lived up to her name - an ideal house for the family weekend away. Easy check-in process and the heater was already put on by Amy to ensure we arrived to a warm house. Very clean and tidy with all the amenities you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Thanks so much.

Braemar Beauty stay

Not just a 'whole house' stay, the house is a fully kitted out home. Very clean, lovely furnishings & the heating was on for us when we arrived on a midwinter evening (thank you!). Good central location with local amenities, we felt relaxed and the host made sure we were able to contact her should any needs arise. Thank you so much, our expectations were exceeded :-)

Lovely house, great spot

The house had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and a handy central location meant an easy bike ride or walk to the shops. Would definitely book again.
